HTC launched their latest Android phone, with its state of the art HTC Sense user interface (Sense UI), the Hero, in MidValley Gardens Hotel. The recommended retail price of the Hero in Malaysia is RM 2,399. It’s available in white or brown. Both versions will have a fingerprint, smudge resistant screen. Celcom will be announcing their own plans and packages for the HTC Hero at a later date.

Read it will be available locally in mid-September.

Thinking of getting an iPhone 3Gs, however the availability and the waiting game is killing my interest. I might get this Hero instead.

Mid sept? i'm skeptical.....but then again under nda so sad.gif smile.gif
You may wanna look at snapdragon ones instead.

3GS availability will be back to normal at end of the month....till then expect to wait or pay thru your teeths for them.

Mid-Sept as from http://bit.ly/Gp9Ip though. Priced at RM2399 and if iPhone 3Gs is not available by early October, I'll hit HTC Hero straight away.

My main concern then will be the essential screen and body protector.
