so hero now jump tru 1.6 and 2.0 update if its true ..

AOSP is just a completely original androidOS .. no special UI 3 .. dunno 4 .. dunno 5 .. amon ra recovery image is the thing that create recovery mode(root) , in recovery mode u can nandroid backup , flash ROM , flash theme , wipe ect2 6 .. u can flash the ROM to test it .. tru recovery mode .. its easy .. but the beta rom always unstable 7 .. its hero weakness .. not much ROM .. or stable AOSP ROM .. , ur ultimate choice is just MCR 3.0 .. ur AOSP 1.6 wont complete coz htc wont release 1.6 update on hero . so no certain hardware driver for that update .. such as camera , no CyanMod ect2 its the main prob y i din choose hero at the 1st place .. then i bought magic .. 8. .. Nandroid is not same with spritebackup and my backup .. nandroid only avail in recovery mode .. it backup all of ur current ROM setting , apps , contact , sms ,mms ect2 , sprite backup just sms , mms , pic ect2 .. 9 .. thats y got nandroid backup .. u root ur hero just to put the recovery mode .. so that u can perform nandroid backup .. before flashing MCR or anything .. ------------------ hero era just too short .. it will not popular in the future .. and wont be much ROM release for hero after this .. coz now everybody move their attention to newest device in the future .. such as .. nexus one , htc bravo , milestone/droid .. and luckily magic and G1 already have alot of attention in the past .. u could see how many ROMs we have .. its variety .. our recovery already at 1.5.2 its a bad idea to buy hero(2.1~2.3k) now .. coz .. it wont reach 1k price diff with Milestone(<3k) .. so ppl would think rather buy a hero ..y wont u save a lil bit and just buy Milestone .. tattoo , magic and G1 price are too far .. anyway its just my 2 cent .. no offense This post has been edited by ~tera~: Dec 17 2009, 07:15 AM |
