B4 this I thought im able to get the digi promotion rm99 Blackberry + rm 58 montly plan.... but.. FAIL ... so currently looking for alternatives other than blackberry...

Was looking at HTC touch pro 2 a little while ago.. but d price are too scary & it remain scary after few months & i See a lot of good review on HTC Hero.. some even says could keep up or even beat I phone. So perhaps I will get Hero + android a try.. I have been using WM on 02 mini for years... i guess should give other system a try.

But currently my major concern is the CONNECTIVITY... Do you guys sign up Plan for Unlimited 3G data? Or just rely on Starbuck/ home wifi? or EDGE?? I have been quite outdated & i oways hoping that I can Online anywhere I go. Fb /chatting/ check mail/ surfnet at any place i want.

What is the best affordable data Plan so far? Im using Digi & i really wish to stick with my Number. But digi doesnt seem to provide any promo for the HTC Hero... Looking at Blue Cube they have HTC Hero but the montly plan is kinda expensive... rm 90+?? is there no other alternatives? Pls share what's yours.

The rm 58 unlimited dig unlimited data? that is 3G right? Will the screen too small for surfing website? HD2 is 4.2"

Do you know where can i get Hero at the lowest price now?

I went to ask the Digi Broadband Unlimited plan rm 48 a month.. + rm 30 postpaid voicecall.. rm 78 a month.. sounds much much cheaper than celcom/maxis right..

guess i'll go for it.. hope the connection is good.. Now just trying to look for Hero.. hope can join u guys soon.

All these telco plan are very confusing.. & they keep changing over the months.

Celcom Bluecube has variety of Handset to choose from (every of my favourite phone they have it).. n can get at a really reasonable price.. But their data plan is expensive for me.

Digi pulak.. there is almost no option to choose from..even if we get the hp from them it wont even be cheaper than u get it urself outside. But then the unlimited plan is Cheaper... (not sure d speed etc can match celcom or not since digi one still new in 3g) & + Digi u can terminate the service any time. No contract.

Congrats! I GOT MINE TODAY!! Bronze...Actually I really Like the Lamborgini Yellow but not available in msia. Bought mine for rm2350 with 8gb card. Pay by Creditcard (for installment purpose ) if cash should able to cheaper another rm50.

Anyway.. Do you guys use SCREEN PROTECTOR for ur Hero? The Hero screen was built to anti-fingerprints.. but with the Screenprotector on it... it doesnt surf its purpose oredi... So is it safe to use without it? They give me the screen protector anyway.

Can my device receive internet connectivity from my PC (which is connected to internet) when they r sync...

My PC is using the wimax wireless...& i hope to use the internet connection from my pc ON my device, instead of using my digi 3G data...

Can this be done? My previous WM phone can.

When I plug in my device to d pc.. n try to use internet application.. I still get connection BUT i donno if the connection comes from the Digi 3G or from the PC... it shows on top "H" should be refer to High speed internet

Oh... I don have wifi set up at home.. thats why im using data cable instead n expecting it can be used like how my pc works with WM device.

So I will have no choice but to set up Wifi in order to use the connection? Im the only one using internet.. so not necessary to get a wireless router just to serve my small room.


Oh yeah. Im exploring the Applications for Hero. The original Set doesnt come with MARKET? Is there a way to download it? or we can use other such as slideME? It was being Bookmarked in my browser... saying to download application for android.. mind to share which exactly should i use?

Hmm.. this is confusing... jumping from WMo to Google Android.

Previous I have Contacts/tasks/Calender in Microsoft Outlook... sync with my WinMo device.

Now. when i first sync my Hero using HTC sync...it sync my Outlook contact into my Hero...works well! but there is not Task option inside hero. Whatever I create appointment in my calender.. it will be in the Google Calender.. Work charmly.. i love it.. but still very confused...

Now i have . Outlook Calender (old appointment/birthday etc in there). + the Google Calender (new one)...


After setting up my Gmail with the phone.. in my device contacts.. i have my Original contact ppl (with phone numbers + home address etc) AND my Gmail contacts Also inside my device contact list...Meaning there are a lot of repetition.. Example:

2.Nelson Oii - Phone
3.nelson.ooi@yahoo.com - Google

Is the same person but it doubled up in my phonebook... Instead of putting the google mail address under the existing Contact in my phone. Not too sure the best way to properly set up my contacts + calender + mails

Now Im trying to move everything from Contacts, calender, email everything to GOOGLE to fully utilise my hero. But still struggling with the Outlook... is there any application such as GOOGLE CONTACT that replacing outlook??

Right now:

Contacts = Microsoft Outlook
Calender = Google Calender
Task= Googe Calender
Email = Google Mail

...Also I will like to know.. if contact photos + birthday info from Facebook being shown inside the Hero Calender/ google Calender?

Yeah.. I just figure tat out... Import my Outlook into my Google account... & everything can be easilly organised finally!.. but i got duplicated contacts from Outlook.. so i hv to clear them off... leaving all 100% Google contacts!

But kinda dangerous on second thought.. wat if sm1 devil enough to able to access to ur Google Acc n delete all ur contacts...

But then is really clever.. Now i can Update my contacts/calender on any PC i want without the need to install anything... brilliant!!

I just Put in my Sim Card n d Phone is ready to go.. Ask my mum to send me a mms n it works without problem. But then.. i nvr flash my firmware.. no knowledge.. takut oso.


I find that when my 3G is always on... and it will keep update me my contacts facebook + photo albums etc + emails few times in an hour.. I dont even know how much data I have been using within this 1 week..I link almost everyone on my Contact list to FB. Is very cool. I just worry it consume too much data...

Any1 know how to check the Data usage for Digi? I worry if reaching 3GB quota ...will slow down a lot...
