Why not? on top of 7% petrol rebate, it also have 5% rebate on hypermarket.

So many people ask what is the best card to use to buy petrol. I don't want to mislead people so better share since information still valid till end June 2009. (That's when the SCB Saadiq promo ends) It is up to the forummer to decide whether worth or not to take it up. For people who has high petrol usage per month, that's still money you are able to save but likewise if you don't pump petrol much since the cost savings won't be so much.

Oh yeah ... not to mention the groceries savings. At least you are not just limited to a particular store - making it the best card right now even beating RHB's Tesco card. Often RHB's card promoters back off when I mention I have this card - they know they can't win my argument or some can't believe it exists. (I had to pull out my card and show them)

The best experience is when one time a RHB's card promoter pulled me to the side and (She's kindof cute) asked me to tell her all about this card. I think I spent a good 10 mins just doing so, forgot to ask for her number though.

No. This credit card thread is also for the Amex Credit Card (MBB). The other Amex thread is the Charge Card (green soldier card )

Amex Credit Card follows the Membership Rewards points, and not the MBB Treat Points.

No, MBB Amex Classic/Gold Credit Card get TP. I'm using this since >3 yrs ago. I can combine the TP with my other MBB Credit Card to redeem rewards. Done that.

Only MBB Amex Platinum Credit Card gets MR.
