I think for petrol, better use CC that come with 2% cash rebate or 5x point, rather than 2x point.
*
It depends on how you see it. Like Petronas, they do not accept AMEX.

Treatpoints to redeem Maybank vouchers have increased terribly. Petronas voucher is now 11000 points instead of 9000 points last time. All the vouchers also increased rclxub.gif

Certain car dealer accepts CC for deposit or downpayment. Just may need to bear the financial charge.

Hi guys, I got couple of questions I want to ask.

1. Do CIMB CC has installment plan (like Maybank Ezypay tu..)?

2. I got 2 CC, CIMB Petronas Mastercard & CIMB Mastercard. Which one is better, in terms of rewards?

Thanks.
*
Maybank Ezpay is offered by merchat will CIMB CC, you need to call the card centre to convert your puchase into an installament plan called i-flexi something.

Regarding Maybank Credit card online statement...  i have found that i have to agree with some term and condition in order to view My statement usng maybank2u facilities. sweat.gif .( which previously no need to proceed for that)...
So, i wanna know if i have agree..does it mean that i would't be receive any kind of credit card paper statement in future ?  hmm.gif
*
Technically yes but when they first launched it, I did accept it but I still received paper statement.

After the launch of the new interface, I didn't subscribe to the online statements. The card transactions history is sufficicent for me.

If they offer something like RM 5 rebate for online statement, I may consider to subscribe it back.

yks8845, I understood the T&C and I was sharing what I experienced.

If you're not satisfied with my post, you can get clarification from MBB CS.

Actually I did give MBB CS a call on this and they couldn't confirm also.

They still insisted that I'll be still receiving my paper statements even though I have subscribed to the Online Statement.

Try CIMB DA. With an income of roughly RM 3k, can get RM 10k limit.

If you pay using Paypass, the transaction is processed fast compared to conventional swipe. I don't think it's matter.

Sry, actually I was referring to Maybank's Visa PayWave, supposedly is (Pay)pass + Visa (Wave) and can be use at both types of terminal

I'm using the MBB Petronas Visa CC and managed to use that feature at Carrefour USJ
*
You're correct that MBB Petronas Visa is only card that support both Paypass and Visa Wave.

I believe the new yellow terminal from MBB supports both too even though I haven't try Paypass on MBB yellow terminal or MBB Petronas Visa on Paypass terminal.
