Not entirely right. Only the Maybankard and Maybank Islamic Ikhwan branded AMEX credit card will earn TP while all other AMEX card (be it credit or charge card with NO Maybank logo on it) will earn you MR.

True indeed. The 2X TP for Ikhwan AMEX is NOT a promotion but a permanent feature of the card only for AMEX.

Think it's not just Jusco vouchers, I hear you can redeem RM50 Petronas vouchers for 8500 tp and RM100 for 16500 tp

I didn't get a respond either. In fact I didn't get any respond when I signed up for the iPod and BMW X6 promos some weeks ago either. I think something is wrong somewhere.

i think the increase is a result of the implementation of permanent feature of 5x treatpoints for petronas maybankcard....

Yeah, nothing in my mind to redeem now. Jusco cash voucher (best liquidity) is on my mind for grocery purchase. Else, wait for MBB TP Fair again, want to redeem another notebook lock.



Since currently with MBB:
1) 5x TP with Petronas Card + Petronas fuel
2) 8x TP with Amex for petrol and groceries (include Jusco)
It is better to spend and pay with CC to collect the high points now. Wait till the promotion is over, then only redeem the points for vouchers. Or redeem the vouchers and sell to friends/colleagues

Read through the terms and conditions of the 8x treat point promotion noticed that we only get 2x for the current monnth, the remaining 6x will add in our account once the promotion period ends.

Still worth it, no ? Better than normal 2x/5x (don't even mention normal 1x ) At the end of promo period, redeem the points for cash voucher

yeah, 8x point is so far the highest point that i can see on Maybank CC (except Sony Card 10x TP for Sony Year End Promotion and 10x Point for American Express Platinum holder). Indeed it was a good promotions for AMEX users
