I'm a bit high right now. Wooooooooo!
I realised one could get a runners' high by doing a circuit training.

I do. It's the shit. Lots of experienced bb'rs think they've got their supplementation right. They don't. Because they havebn't been using Pro Complex. There are all sorts of special stuffs in ON PC that causes muscle bulk to explode through through the ROOF!

Team Pro Complex rocks!
We come, we drink Pro Complex, we conquer.

Brother. What does u mean by hyped up? Pro Complex is superior to every other type of supplement out there. But of course it's more expensive! That's why it's better. It's not anohter wheay.

Team Pro Complex: bigger, faster, smarter.

Added on August 21, 2009, 11:11 amBTW, I weighed myself yesterday, and found I gained 2 kg in 2 weeks while on a cut and inconsistent training. Strange.

I do think that Pro Complex might actually be a hyped up product.

It requires slightly more than twice the serving of a common whey protein. It has 4x the amount of sodium. It has a whole load of vitamins, BUT I can fix that up with a serving of multivitamins. (which would cost me about SGD25 [RM55] for 180 caps or 1 month supply. And at a much higher concentration too) Also, I'm not sure how your body will absorb all 60GMS of protein, especially since it's fast digesting protein (Unless you have HCL to go with it)

Taking GNC's price of about RM200+RM55 for multivitamins.....it'll be around RM255. That's still cheaper than the price at Ego nutritions for RM350. So personally, apart from taste, I'm not too sure if I'll want to join the Pro Complex bandwagon. Buy OEM protein. Tasteless and cheap.

Still, I'm a believer of food and less of supplements. My supps are only limited to HCL, creatine, whey protein, multivitamins and fish oil. HCL to ensure I get 95-100% digestion of my food. Creatine because my workouts are intense and I train twice a day. Whey, multivitamins to recover in time. Fish oil, to increase insulin sensitivity to fat and ensure that my body doesn't use muscles for energy.

As for your increase of 2KG, it could be your body finally getting a break, and having all the essential nutrients that it requires (I suggest you jot what you eat in the last 2 weeks) and thus gaining some muscle. I'm at 82KG now, while on the 5th day of my break. I start training, I'll drop back to 80 again.

team Pro Complex is smarter tongue.gif

Yes Pro Complex may be superior to the standard whey protein because of its blend and added nutritional ingredients, if price is not a factor.

For people who are on a budget constrain and want to squeeze out the best value for every penny, Pro Complex(or any other superior protein blend formula) is not the way to go. Like pizzaboy said, you can get all the nutrients in it from combining whey + multi vits.. etc.

But of course its more convinient to just take 1 serving of Pro Complex than to stack various other supplements in order to match the same nutritional value.

Again, this is where the price factor come in. Got money = less work, no money = more work?

Cheers-

But have any of you actually tried Pro Complex before dissing it in yr ignorance? Have any of you take it consistent? Those in Team Pro Complex will know the secrets of Pro Complex. Look. I dun want to insult you penny-pinching whey drinkers, but Pro Complex is more than whey. Yes, it contains sodium, but only because the salt harvested from the armpit of ON founder really acts as a catalys to EXPLOSIVE muskel growth!

http://www.google.com.my/search?hl=en&rlz=...nG=Search&meta=

Basically, it helps digest and breakdown protein from it's peptide bonds more efficiently. Especially people with low stomach acidity. 50% of people have low stomach acid. How do we tell ? Nausea from drinks and supps, burping and farting within an hour of a meal, bad breath, stinky stools (Your food is undigested, it turns rotten in your stomach, emitting gases) If you feel a burn in your stomach though, that's too much HCL. I usually take HCL after a heavy meal. This way, I can get nearly 100% digestion of my foods instead of having nearly 30% of it, wasted.

I'm not dissing it in my ignorance. I did do some reading about it when it first came out, to see what it was. These were some conclusions that altered my decision on purchasing it.

Your money's yours to spend, but this is a forum and lets all be allowed to state our thoughts without needing to resort to calling others penny-pinchers and ignorant. I do admit, that I do not know everything, and that my life is a constant learning journey, but I don't think one that desires to learn, needs to be called ignorant.

Yet, what are the benefits that you have found, using Pro Complex that you feel makes it superior to the common whey?

marketing hype is a must aite ?? how can they make selling without it ?? and each product has different tolerance towards the user...even MuscleTech's product work wonders for some ppl...just that, it's expensive when compared...i think this is same with attires...nike sports shirt is a bit expensive compared to brooks or admiral's even the quality is the same....you're paying for it's name actually....

but hey, if you want it badly, just buy lor...it's your call...just no need to be too defensive or offensive towards others...

just my 2 cents....

I bought Pro Complex because of the hydrolyzed whey protein in it. It's the only thing that contains HydWheyPr in a typical GNC. And I need HWP because I used to work out first thing in the morning, and did not have time for whey to be digested, and I think this way because my workout drinks are all done according to an exacting Berardi philosophy.
