QUOTE(darklight79 @ Apr 10 2009, 06:23 PM) I always say, let a person's physique speak for himself. If you want mass, who're you going to listen to? The guys who talk smack here about how much research they've done and talking like they know it all but have no physiques to even speak about or the ones who actually post their videos and have pics of themselves? This mentality is not just common in LYN, but also in BB.COM. We'll experience people who talk shit everywhere but at the end of the day, it's up to us who to decide to listen to no? |

Darkie, you don't deadlift often but you squat often right? I rarely barbell bench too.

You are strong... So far my 1RM is 80kg. Tried the other day after my back workout and a few sets of barbell bench presses. Gonna try afresh next day.
How much do you dumbbell press darkie? I think I saw ur vid before and there was a heck load of plates. Like Ronnie Coleman. XD. |

I have noticed a lot of people in the forum neglecting their tricep exercises... (based on some surveying in the workout journal section). From what I see, most of the members only do 1 tricep exercise eg. skullcrushers or tricep cable pushdown for a few sets and count it as a tricep day.
I have noticed my puny triceps since the last month and have started working them out in the past 3 weeks. 1 day a week, starting with triceps first then moving on to biceps. I noticed a rather significant growth in arm size. 3 weeks ago my arms were 13" without pump, now they are 13.7" unpumped. As most of us know, our triceps make out 2/3 of our arm size, and so often we neglect it. I do a 4 supersets of dumbbell pullovers, lying single arm tricep extensions and dumbbell tricep kickbacks. After that I go on to 3 sets of standing single dumbbell tricep extensions. Note: This comes from a guy who does not work on cables or barbells, without a proper diet. Just purely dumbbells. Imagine if you incorporate in more exercises. Don't neglect your triceps! Just sharing. (Don't tell me shit like, I'm not focusing on my arms right now, I need a bit more chest or lats first. I always believe that if you want to lift, give it your 100% and make sure you exhaust that muscle group, not just do some half assed sets and count it a day. If not don't bother wasting your time.) Which brings me back to the point that people don't do enough tricep exercises, if not none.

Arnold shoulder presses also requires rotating your arms. Same concept, different exercises.

I don't feel any stress on my shoulders on arms day cuz when doing curls there is no shoulder movement. Not counting tricep exercises that is.

Ops my bad. But umm... I also don't work my forearms at all when doing shoulders. They get a pump and become tight tho. How do you do your lateral raise? Dumbbells parallel to the floor, bent forward or facing upwards?

The tip is to get heavier dumbbells. Lol. 5kg is peanuts. Go look around at the member workout journal sections for examples, or bb.com.
Zeist wanna feel koyak orgasm ma. XD. Don't let your ego get the better side of you. |
