Furthest I've ran was 15k. 21k + 10k hilly back-to-back is a tall-order for me blush.gif

yeah can do a pre-Mizuno 10k DH with you all of you on Sat. I am also planning to skip my 25k run to reserve for Sunday. This Sunday is to test my speed again (not that I can run very fast). See how fast I can whack the hills and come back in one piece. If interested we can do it at 6am but the NIKE trial is at 5am, gotta chk with Phoenix and see if he can get NIKE to shift the time.

meatball88: I don't really know about the exact gradient as I never measure it before. But it's pretty steep especially for beginners and it all happens around the 5KM mark, normally after a refreshment station. Experience it yourself this Sunday and you will know. As time passes, it get pretty easy.

Syd G & Andy: My standard is 20KM only consider long. You can opt to do your own "LSD" as Nike isn't setting any route. Just make sure you return the shoes after the run. A good option is like what ccube said. Simulate the Mizuno route to help prepare for the next day.

tanling26: Each of us has different preferences for shoes. I myself choose my shoes based on performance and comfort and not the design. You have to do some product research over the internet and also to tryon the shoes yourself to get to know them. If you are interested in Saucony, do let me or ccube know.

Syd G: There is no fix route. You go and run your own route be it double hills, Carcosa or around Lake Gardens. The meet up will be 5am at Bukit Aman carpark. I'll be running the Mizuno Wave Run reverse route though starting at 6am.

tanling26: Asics is a "legendary" brand. But not matter how good or expensive the shoe is, if it doesn't suit your feet, what's the point.

so nice...I would train together with you guys if I was back home.

Disappointed not being able to run for Mizuno after training so hard.

I will try running over here soon as possible... Hopefully its not too cold.gotta plan sikit. either I do short runs before work or long runs after work. I'll see how dark and cold it is after work. We normally finish by 5.30pm...depending on work.
