ccube: It's a trial session where each runner will be a given a pair to try it on. Later, a post mortem will be held to share among the positive and negative aspects of the shoe. Runners won't get the shoe though. Have to give back. And it's only limited to the trainer, not the racer.

strife01: The Lunars were launched last Monday priced at RM389 for the LunarTrainer+ and RM439 for the LunaRacer+.

metalfreak: Do take care of yourself there and I will see you soon. Remember to run and take photos around there.

andy: LSD stands for Long Slow Distance meaning running a long distance at a slower pace to build up leg strength and also endurance.

sfax: Congratz! Very good timing for 12KM. Have a good rest.

toto4d: Pressure free for the first time racing this distance. Though you miss your sub-2 target, your timing is already remarkable that put some others to shame. Anyway, CONGRATZ on getting your first shiny. 2 more will be coming and then you be certified a marathoner!

d3vilzzzz: If you run through Planetarium, then the distance will be around 6KM. They all started as beginners but has hence improved. Some can even take on 10KM double hills and some 20KM Hartamas route. 1 loop around the Lake Gardens is 2.3KM.

sfax: 3 days 2 nights (5 Dec - 7 Dec) travelling by First Coach. What you mean you think you book? Book already or not?

meatball88: I don't really know about the exact gradient as I never measure it before. But it's pretty steep especially for beginners and it all happens around the 5KM mark, normally after a refreshment station. Experience it yourself this Sunday and you will know. As time passes, it get pretty easy.

Syd G & Andy: My standard is 20KM only consider long. You can opt to do your own "LSD" as Nike isn't setting any route. Just make sure you return the shoes after the run. A good option is like what ccube said. Simulate the Mizuno route to help prepare for the next day.

tanling26: Each of us has different preferences for shoes. I myself choose my shoes based on performance and comfort and not the design. You have to do some product research over the internet and also to tryon the shoes yourself to get to know them. If you are interested in Saucony, do let me or ccube know.

Syd G: There is no fix route. You go and run your own route be it double hills, Carcosa or around Lake Gardens. The meet up will be 5am at Bukit Aman carpark. I'll be running the Mizuno Wave Run reverse route though starting at 6am.

tanling26: Asics is a "legendary" brand. But not matter how good or expensive the shoe is, if it doesn't suit your feet, what's the point.

d3vilzzzz: Since you do come for the beginner's program, do introduce yourself to us when you see us. I'm sure you know how I look like.

meatball88: I'm not really sure as I do not check on my sensor when I run. But if I were to estimate it, I guess it will be around 1KM to 1.5KM long. Don't ask the distance, experiencing yourself is the best.

I can't help but to burst into laughter after knowing what's on Syd and Andy's mind while running. Haha...
As for me, I sometimes do not know what I think about at times. Just stay positive and I always tell myself that I do not want to regret at the end of the day. Some people says that running is actually mind over body. I have to agree at times.

Syd G: I heard that there will be plenty of it. No worries on sizing. Besides, I don't think there will be many female runners around.

sfax: I'll be there around 5am for the Nike Lunar Trainer+ trialling. Our doube hill run will start at 6am. Just meet up at the same place where you met us last Saturday. We will be doing the reverse double hill route which I think none of us has done before. See ya!

Its up to you. To try the Lunar Trainer+, you will need to register youself first before getthing the shoe. If you can't run, jog or walk then.
By the way Riq, if it was you that posted a comment in the blog, you did good at Klang 12K. You should be able to wtihstand double hills. No worries on that.

Thanks Riq. We will start running at 6am sharp. But if you somehow overslept or late and scared getting lost, you can choose to run around Lake Gardens instead then. There will be plenty of weekeenders there. Besides, Runners Malaysia beginners program starts at 7.30am and they run around Lake Gardens too.

Riq: Congratz on a strong run. You mentioned that you find it tough to run a sub-50 10K run. There, you are almost there. Keep it up!

sfax: You did great. No shame in your results. You will definetely be better as time passes.

I myself did 00:49:28, position 130. The Saucony Fastwitch 3 was just simply AWESOME! Can't go slow with it. If it wasn't for the traffic at the start, I believe I would have broken my PB. But that's not something I want to bother about now. Most important is that I know. Anyway guys, keep the results coming! I will send it to Pacesetters to be published.

vin_ann: Never mind. At least you ran the simulation and roughly will know the experience. Glad you came too despite not running.

meatball88: Glad to have met you too. You did great. Now we wait for the official chip timing to be published. I like the medal actually. Unique design although it's very light. Mixture of pewter and stainless steel I guess. By the way, I'm not so youg anymore lar. I got kiddy face only. Inside engine already old wan.

d3vilzzzz: SInce you are there, why don't you just go and greet them. My photo is in my avatar and I'm sure you have read our blogs. Just come and say hi. Nothing to lose.

tschin1981: First place is the French guy. Super fast wan. I myself will be intersed in knowing his timing. By the way, I don't think the Pacesetters chip system can accomodate staggered start. That esplains that we all start the same time. Sad but true. I was in the middle pack with ccube and some other friends.

thechallenger: You felt dizzy most likely because your glycogen level is low after the run. I experience it before during my earlier days. Replenish with the food n beverage served.

p/s: I would like to express my deep felt gratitude to CCUBE for organising the simulation run the day before the actual race of the Mizuno Wave Run 2008. I believe it has really help those here a lot especially those new to running. THANK YOU!

navilink: Both are pretty equal actually but Penang attract more runners. Wonder why. But I believe KLIM09 will be HUGE!

lexan: I like your attitude in going around asking people for us. Hope to see you soon.

berukberak: Thanks for the update. Enjoy your rest from running but prepare to have sleepless nights. Hehe...

the challenger: No more for this year. Now it's all majors.
