QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 15 2008, 08:56 PM) Erm, I'm not sure whether there are any newer methods since like 3 months ago until now (I was inactive in the PSP scene within that), but I think you'll need a plugin in order to do that.. |

if the divx playback is true, hope they won't cap the bit rate to 500kbps anymore and allow for higher bit rates
I believe psp processor is capable of decoding higher bit rate since it has dedicated mpeg4 hardware decoder, although at the cost of battery life. but it will be great as a portable media center to watch downloaded movies on lcd tv This post has been edited by dattebayo: Jan 16 2008, 02:21 AM |

Otherwise, just use your normal network configuration. |

3.80 MM3-4 Update released:
QUOTE Changes: POPSLOADER for 3.80 M33 has been released as well, requires M33-3M33-3: - Fixed synchronization issue that plugins check code caused in PSN NP9660 original games (fixes 0x80010013 error) - Added a couple of libs to the nids resolver. - Added some internal changes required by incoming 3.80 popsloader plugin. M33-4: - galaxy.prx was changed to a new version that is giving problems with slow memory sticks. Reverted back to previous versions. This didn't only affect decrypted isos running in NP9660 mode. QUOTE(Ninja @ Jan 16 2008, 12:04 PM) If I'm not mistaken, the AOSS feature will only available in Japan PSP. You can use the Fake Region set to 'Japan' and the AOSS selection will pop-up in Network configuration. mine is PSP1001 and i got the AOSS features, i think after re-format the MSPD with the PSP should get this function... |

3.80 settles the remote play issue for previous custom firmwares. before this they had to do a PSARdump and replace their flash0 files to enable it.
Remote play is pretty impressive, the only failure I got was trying to switch off the ps3 over the internet. Connection got timed out so ps3 left turned on |

QUOTE(ruztynail @ Jan 17 2008, 04:26 PM) A few ways to access flash0:1) Recovery menu -> advanced -> toggle flash0 2) M33 VSH recovery menu (press select on XMB) -> change USB to flash0 then activate usb as normal Be sure to have a NAND dump for your PSP beforehand especially if you have a Slim as corrupted IDstorage cant be shared between PSPs and it cant be recovered even using DCv3 and Pandora. |

Well, no turning back, I guess although there's this pandora thing which I can't comprehend.a great feature that saves all the hassle My advise to fellow LYN is to hold-on for a while at 3.71 M33-4, until they release fix for the game-lag due to memory stick access thingy. |

yup.. if 4gig.. sure u'll face the lag prob.. so just format ur memory stick to FAT16 format.. then, u can play what ever game as smooth as a silk.. huhu..
this is the guide How to format specifying filesystem just connect ur psp to ur pc as usual.. then do the step below... 1. Go to Start Menu -> Run... 2. Type 'cmd' without quotes 3. At command prompt, type: 'format x: /q /fs:FAT' (without quotes, this is for FAT16 filesystem) (change x to your MS drive) If asks for a Force Dismount, choose yes. If it warns you about compatibility problems on FAT16, just ignore it. If it asks for a Volume Label, just type anything or none at all. gudluck.. back up ur folder and any save game coz memory stick will be formatted fresh like a baby... Okie, I'll give this a whirl tonite. Have to copy all the folders inside the Memstick right, right ? After formatting, then copy everything back as it is, yes ? this is the guide How to format specifying filesystem 1. Go to Start Menu -> Run... 2. Type 'cmd' without quotes 3. At command prompt, type: 'format x: /q /fs:FAT' (without quotes, this is for FAT16 filesystem) 'format x: /q /fs:FAT32' (without quotes, this is for FAT32 filesystem) (change x to your MS drive) If asks for a Force Dismount, choose yes. If it warns you about compatibility problems on FAT16, just ignore it. If it asks for a Volume Label, just type anything or none at all. gudluck.. Thanks for the guide. |

QUOTE(sprix @ Jan 18 2008, 11:02 AM) Sure. The strangest thing is yesterday on firmware 3.71 m33-4 there's no lagging in Ridge Racer 2. It's only after firmware upgrade 3.80M33-4 that this problem start. Although I have been on FAT32 since I bought the PSP last week. Well, this is minor thing. let's focus on other stuff like SKYPE, MSN and Yahoo messenger on PSP. |

QUOTE(mengga @ Jan 18 2008, 10:19 AM) Please do try Ridge Racer 2, you'll notice a 1-2 second lag and Wipeout Pulse 1-2 frame unrendered. I don't want to mention GTA. But I think fix is on the way, so no biggie. Okay, upon your request I tested my GTA Liberty City Stories, it did show some lagging, or it was actually like that? Only played once so didn't really notice its frame rate. |

Somehow there are some slowdowns with MSes after the 3.80 update. The list is too long to be pasted here. I can't verify the list as I'm still on 3.71

GTA is having the most impact on the new firmware, due to it's streaming nature from UMD/mspd.

sorry for trouble anyone here.
i had read through the guide but still no idea how to upgrade to 3.80 M33. can anyone give me a step by step guide? and can answer some of my questions please. 1)i am using a 3.71 M33 firmware slim PSP, so should i use Pandora or DCv3? i heard that Pandora can't work well on slim. 2)so Pandora and DCv3 have same function as well? 3)i still need to create nand with other tool? 4)i heard that can't update(some sort of that) with the usb, or it will damage the idstorage or flash0 or flash1. can explain to me what is that? 5)What i have to take care or mention when i upgrading to 3.80 M33? i mean i have to use AC power, can't do it through usb and other as well? *end* please don't flame or ban me, because i have no idea how to upgrade to 3.80 M33. thanks. QUOTE(loonsave @ Jan 18 2008, 03:03 PM) sorry for trouble anyone here. 1) Pandora and DCv3 are only needed if you want to downgrade to older FWs. You can also use DCv3 to update to 3.80 but it is easier to use normal methodi had read through the guide but still no idea how to upgrade to 3.80 M33. can anyone give me a step by step guide? and can answer some of my questions please. 1)i am using a 3.70 M33 firmware slim PSP, so should i use Pandora or DCv3? i heard that Pandora can't work well on slim. 2)so Pandora and DCv3 have same function as well? 3)i still need to create nand with other tool? 4)i heard that can't update(some sort of that) with the usb, or it will damage the idstorage or flasho or flash1. can explain to me what is that? *end* please don't flame or ban me, because i have no idea how to upgrade to 3.80 M33. thanks. 2) Pandora batt is required to make the PSP to read IPLs straight from MS and DCv3 have the software needed to flash the NAND 3) If you already have a NAND dump then you dont have to make a new one 4) Flashing via USB is buggy on 3.71 M33-2 but it has been fixed on 3.71 M33-4 but to be on the safe side, make sure you have a NAND dump for your slim. NAND on the PSP is where the firmware is stored. There are 4 NAND partitions: flash0, flash1, 2, 3, etc2.. flash0 stores the firmware and flash1 stores the setting of the PSP, flash2 for DRM licenses etc2. Somehow on slim, the flash0 is kinda encrypted and if the partition is damaged, you cant recover it fully unless you have a working NAND dump to restore it. |

Make sure to upgrade to 3.80 M33-1 first and then only upgrade to M33-4 |

The reason for the lagging is because of the memory stick driver being changed by Sony and the overclocking feature is broken on 3.80M33 to v4. The temporary fix is to use CWCheat to overclock. That should solve the problem temporarily until D_A decides to release -5 to fix the problem.

QUOTE(dattebayo @ Jan 19 2008, 11:39 PM) But maybe that time games that require firmware 3.80 will be released. From the past firmware releases I notice that when a new firmware is released, 3 months later will come out a game that requires that firmware. Since 3.80 (official Sony's) was released last month, maybe games released in March such as God of War or Crisis Core, will require 3.80. |

Fixed. - Added setting to recovery to hide PIC0.PNG and PIC1.PNG in the XMB game menu By default off, when on you will probably notice a faster browse in XMB games. EDIT : Assume if u have wifi accessI just bought a psp & the shop already installed 3.80 m33-4. How do i upgrade to m33-5. I know where to download, but how to install? If you already have 3.80m33 firmware and above, you can actually download automatically by using 'Network Update' from the XMB. After that go to game memory stick , launch the 3.80 m33-5 update, press x to install, then it will restart , and voila! You now have 3.80 m33-5 installed. All from the readme. EDIT : to manually install, refer to vorchiel Hope this help This post has been edited by Zero-G: Jan 22 2008, 10:47 AM |

QUOTE(ykc @ Jan 23 2008, 07:25 PM) now only support .mp4 I only saw .avi = divx. IF im scared of updating it myself, i bring to PSP shops to update it, how long it takes?.. and how much agak agak the pricing will be? look at 3.51 M33 and download it, open the readme file, from there, follow this and steps below QUOTE 2 - Once done it, or if you are under any Special/Open Edition, copy M33CREATOR folder to your "ms0:/PSP/GAME" (1.50fw) or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150" (SE/OE) From there, you are on the M33 wagons, proceed to download 3.80 M33, understand the readme first. 3 - Download official 3.51 eboot, rename it to 351.PBP and place it on "ms0:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/" or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/" 4 - Download official 1.50 eboot, rename it to 150.PBP and place it on "ms0:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/" or "ms0:/PSP/GAME150/M33CREATOR/" 5 - Go to Games/Memory Stick on your PSP, and execute "3.51 M33 CREATOR". Once finished, it will go back to the XMB. 6 - Go again to Games/Memory Stick on your PSP, and execute "3.51 M33UPDATE". You'll have to press X to agree to the installation. 7 - When finished, press X to shut down and reboot manually. 8 - Enjoy your 3.51 M33 I cannot make any guarantee that these are the exact steps If going to shop update, expect no less than RM50. It takes just a while to update only |

just make sure your psp is charged at least 75% and better yet while u run the update program keep the power plugged in. If you somehow lose power during the update process your psp will get bricked.

Tutorial by sprix.this is the guide How to format specifying filesystem just connect ur psp to ur pc as usual.. then do the step below... |

I have PSP Slim and currently running 3.71 M33. I want to upgrade 3.71-4 M33. Is this tutorial reliable? http://www.stylemo.com/2007/12/27/how-to-u...e-to-371-m33-4/
It says upgrade directly to 3.71-4 without having to install prev. revision. And also there is no such option in my recovery mode: "Enter the recovery mode and go to Configuration -> Game folder homebrew. It should read Currently 3.71 Kernel" This post has been edited by Underhill: Jan 27 2008, 05:12 PM |

Thanks a bunch msn83235502. Updated mine and no problem were encountered.
I wonder what popsloader.prx in the update files is. Shall I replaced it with the new one? And if I want to go to 3.80-5, what I should do is upgrade to 3.80 --> 3.80-2 --> Then network update or update to 3.80-4. Correct? Thanks again. QUOTE(Underhill @ Jan 27 2008, 06:50 PM) ... Well, remember this: Newer updates contain old updates as well. And if I want to go to 3.80-5, what I should do is upgrade to 3.80 --> 3.80-2 --> Then network update or update to 3.80-4. Correct? ... It means that revision 5 will contain updates from revision 2, 3, and 4. So it's the same if you go straight to V3.80 M33-5 from V3.80 M33. And you don't have to go to V3.80 M33-2 to perform the network update. You can do that from V3.80 M33 itself. |

Hi guys, I am very new to PSP. I won a psp in a lucky draw. Now deciding whether to sell it or not. Have crappy knowledge on PSP so I did a bit of research and noticed that most of the games are racing/soccer etc etc. Didn't notice any nice RPG game in PSP so I am now in a dilemma whether I should keep it or sell it. I notice that there are a lot of other functions in PSP but I have no idea how to use them

hi i paid SCE to do it. RM35. some place cheaper, i don't know. but ok larrr
then i go next shop buy 4GB memory stick , rm118, friendly handsome guy. he also put nesterJ ok now,in if you run emulators, and you get error "unable to start game 800xxxxx", that means you need to install "1.50 KERNEL ADD ON" make sure it is compatible with your firmware. follow this guide exactly http://www.stylemo.com/2007/12/14/how-to-a...ustom-firmware/ after installing, im able to run DGEN, SNES, C64 emulators. I'm trying to get Atari 2600 emulator also exists on the internet is x86 (PC) emulator for the PSP, called bosch or something. with it, you can run Windows98 or Windows 3.1 |

Press down on the Right button while turning on your PSP to go into recovery mode. Go to "Plugins ->" and select "popsloader.prx [POPS] (Disabled)" to change it to enabled Game start+R(wait)>pops list> Select "pops 3.xx" ok.. and play.. use this ..hopes this helps. |

CFW 3.90 M33 Coming Soon
From Dark-Alex himself: QUOTE Yeah, 3.90 is mostly same as 3.80, that's why almost all works. However you will loose this with this trick: pops, msvideo plugin will get corrupted in ram, vshmain will get corrupted in ram (may or may not have consequences), sysconf_plugin will get corrupted too (that maybe the reason of sys info crash). Anyways you can wait for 3.90 M33, this is an easy firmware. Source: http://forums.maxconsole.net/showpost.php?...72&postcount=16 |

You dont have to go back to Malaysia to use CFWs. I bought mine from HMV UK about a month ago and already on CFW |

game sharing,
u wanna play a game with your fwen, both have psp, but only got one UMD. (like tekken, fifa etc.) so, by using this feature, u will be able to share your umd thru wifi, n play the game... if im not mistake, only certain mode of the game can be played. like friendly matches.. not all mode. ( correct me if im wrong ) my turn to ask question. new firmware ( including those of cfw. haha ) got this online radio right/? is there any possibility for me to add hitz/era.fm into the list? if ya, how? anyone experienced it? really miss the morning crew and monday top 20 charts~ huuuuu |

QUOTE(WilliamG @ Feb 2 2008, 11:17 PM) u have the game.ur friend dont.then u start the game.select game sharing at multiplayer menu. ur friend must be at XMB, scroll to GAME>GAME SHARING. turn on wifi for both. then u'll see list of shared game at the moment.select it and u're ready to go. mostly game sharing are on multiplayer game.such as MGSPO,MACH,Killzone and etc. not all game have that. and one thing to be clear. game sharing is NOT transferring/sending whole game to ur friend. |

For AVI file, in video encoding setting, just select copy and it will not reencode the video file. However, the file size still will be around the size before you convert. |

Go to Command Prompt. To access that, go to your Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt
Type in "format x: /fs:fat" (without the quotes and where x: is your memory stick drive letter). Ignore the warnings and just hit Enter or Yes. N.B-: Remember that once U had formatted your memory stick from the PC, DO NOT re-format it again in your PSP system XMD. Doing so will revert the memory back to the FAT32 system again. So... pls either copy your folder layout 1st of your PSP over to a temp folder in your PC, AND after formatting it back to FAT, U can then cut n paste the folders again, so that all your seplugins, GAME150, 390 is intact as U usually would have to. |

Easiest way to spot fake MSPD....Price at around RM120.00. LOL
Problems == high possibility of your data getting corrupted & your PSP not recognizing your memory card. Just happened to mine over the weekend. |

Press the on button the straight away press the R button (continue pressing till the recovery menu comes up)
Remember that playing around the recovery menu may brick your PSP |

Most people that have a pandora batt + magic mspd are either working/own a gameshop or in the business of upgrading & de-bricking psps. So abit hard to borrow frm them, unless you are willing to pay a service fee.

helo, not sure whether this is the right thread to post my question.
recently i checked and fix my fat psp using keycleaner, my question is how can i fix the 0x0041.bin file? tried googled and all suggest to get the file from another psp fat, then use another program to fix it, can someone direct me to where i can get the file? or can someone just send the 0x0041.bin to me? |

Latest FW is 3.90M33. For phat 3.80M33-5 i good enough. The different is only the skype function. That also is only available for slim not for phat.

I'm interested in a PSP but completed know nothing about it. I've gone tru the FAQ at post #1 and would like to ask few questions.
#1 What is the difference purchasing from console shops instead of purchasing from Sony Style Malaysia? #2 What is a modded PSP that console shops sells? Why are they not warrantied? What is the purpose of a modded PSP? #3 What does region do/mean? #4 PSP got wifi. How do i type alphabets when i surf the net? #5 When i build my PC i have basic knowledge about PC and how to troubleshoot. Do i need some basic knowledge how to handle a PSP to own one? Like is there command or scripts that i need to mess with if my only intention with the PSP is to play games and maybe surf the net? #6 Where do most LYN surfer buy their UMD games from? The games selection seems limited. #7 Is there instant messenger(IM) for PSP? #8 Will there be a new PSP soon? Do YOU GUYS recommend me to purchase the PSP without having a game desired? Till now I only play computer fps games so no favourites Thanks. This post has been edited by tomatos: Feb 18 2008, 11:30 PM |

This post has been edited by lildaredevil906: Feb 19 2008, 02:08 AM#1 What is the difference purchasing from console shops instead of purchasing from Sony Style Malaysia? If im not mistaken, its not hacked. Meaning you have to hack it yourself which means all the cfw need to self install.#2 What is a modded PSP that console shops sells? Why are they not warrantied? What is the purpose of a modded PSP? Hacked psp. Custom firmwares, meaning much LESS limitation as the original Sony Style Malaysia firmware #3 What does region do/mean? This one ask sifu here. #4 PSP got wifi. How do i type alphabets when i surf the net? left right up down. X X X X X X #5 When i build my PC i have basic knowledge about PC and how to troubleshoot. Do i need some basic knowledge how to handle a PSP to own one? Like is there command or scripts that i need to mess with if my only intention with the PSP is to play games and maybe surf the net? youll get used to it. (surf net on typing) Need basic knowledge like how to update firmwares and stuff. Because you dont want a hassle to make a pandora battery (unbricking psp) brick meaning psp = useless #6 Where do most LYN surfer buy their UMD games from? The games selection seems limited. I'm interested in a PSP but completed know nothing about it. I've gone tru the FAQ at post #1 and would like to ask few questions. #1 What is the difference purchasing from console shops instead of purchasing from Sony Style Malaysia? difference in warranty, local console shops are selling parallel imported PSPs and Sony-MY won't help you service it. #2 What is a modded PSP that console shops sells? Why are they not warrantied? What is the purpose of a modded PSP? The same reason as a modded PS2. In other words it is to run homebrew and some "other" games. They are not warrantied as long as they found the modded firmware inside #3 What does region do/mean? PSP don't have games region, but do have UMD movie region which follows DVD region #4 PSP got wifi. How do i type alphabets when i surf the net? Onscreen keyboard, much like how you type SMS #5 When i build my PC i have basic knowledge about PC and how to troubleshoot. Do i need some basic knowledge how to handle a PSP to own one? Like is there command or scripts that i need to mess with if my only intention with the PSP is to play games and maybe surf the net? To play PSP games is as easy as ABC. You 'll need some knowledge in installing modded firmware and homebrew apps #6 Where do most LYN surfer buy their UMD games from? The games selection seems limited. playasia, or local website like TSB.com.my, or local game shops #7 Is there instant messenger(IM) for PSP? Skype as the official IM client for PSP now #8 Will there be a new PSP soon? Do YOU GUYS recommend me to purchase the PSP without having a game desired? Till now I only play computer fps games so no favourites There will not be any variation in PSP hardware for the time being. Recommend or not it really depends on you. But to play FPS on a PSP is a no-no to me. What PSP great is able to serve as portable entertainment, able to deliver near PS2 graphics. Upcoming game like God of War will expose hidden potentials in PSP hardware. |

QUOTE(bill3 @ Feb 18 2008, 03:24 PM) I think it means that CFW can play some UMD movies from other regions. read this and think My Region 2 UMD from Japan plays only on Region 2 PSP. QUOTE(tomatos @ Feb 18 2008, 11:09 PM) I'm interested in a PSP but completed know nothing about it. I've gone tru the FAQ at post #1 and would like to ask few questions. Hope this helps.. #1 What is the difference purchasing from console shops instead of purchasing from Sony Style Malaysia? Have it this way, purchasing from Sony Style will allow your PSP to be warrantied directly from Sony themselves. It will confirm that you are getting all original stuff but at a much higher price and lesser package as compared to the other sellers. Therefore, in the opposite, you will be getting a far better package at a cheaper price if you are getting from sellers outsite. However, there is no warranty on the PSP by Sony and you are at risk of getting fake accesories. #2 What is a modded PSP that console shops sells? Why are they not warrantied? What is the purpose of a modded PSP? Its actually installed with Custom Firmwares (CFW). By having a CFW, you will be able to play homebrew games as well as games directly from the Memory Stick by itself. The reason for not warrantied by Sony - they are modded #3 What does region do/mean? Well, basically there are different regions depending on where the PSP was launched and to be sold at. And that being said, there are actually games/movies that are region dependant and would not work with different region from the UMD themselves. To learn more, look at greyfox's post above. #4 PSP got wifi. How do i type alphabets when i surf the net? There is actually a virtual keyboard (or should i say, alphabet sellector) in the PSP itself. Kinda hard to use at first but you will get used to it in the end. Eg: #5 When i build my PC i have basic knowledge about PC and how to troubleshoot. Do i need some basic knowledge how to handle a PSP to own one? Like is there command or scripts that i need to mess with if my only intention with the PSP is to play games and maybe surf the net? No. You do not need to mess around with the PSP. Just use it like a console will do unless you are really into customizing the PSP itself. #6 Where do most LYN surfer buy their UMD games from? The games selection seems limited. There is plenty of PSP/UMD seller even here at LYN. Try look around in the Console/Garage Sales section. There is one alternative that provides a lot of UMD Choices - PlayAsia.com. They do offer shipping to Malaysia #7 Is there instant messenger(IM) for PSP? As off what i know, SKYPE is official at the latest firmware. But i only tried online web messenger before using the PSP #8 Will there be a new PSP soon? Do YOU GUYS recommend me to purchase the PSP without having a game desired? Till now I only play computer fps games so no favourites New PSP? Only Sony knows. But there is no sign of it coming anytime too soon. I bought the PSP without any desirable games but to be honest, i never regret. The great variety of game choices, the number of additional functions and portability is what makes the PSP something kinda hard to resist. Thanks. |

My buttons abit "khek sui" already.. Because people keep banging on the buttons non stop. I have looked around tutorials and never seem to "understand" them. Soo i was wondering if any one here can enlighten me about changing of the buttons?. Face plate should be "sap sap water" cause its just like sticking a cover on. I see people having troubles with the analog stick after changing the face plate so im abit scared of screwing up my psp. Any pointers on changing the buttons properly?? edit: Screen cloths, can use those wipe specs cloth ah? Same material isnt it?? This post has been edited by lildaredevil906: Feb 19 2008, 12:07 PM |

QUOTE(tomatos @ Feb 18 2008, 11:09 PM) #4 You use this. Copy the HTML and google.gif to your /PSP folder. Then set your web browser's homepage to this HTML by entering in file:/psp/index.html using the phone-style input. Do this just once, and from then on every time you load the web browser you are presented with a keyboard entry. The downside to this is it doesn't work for normal text input, only URLs.PSP got wifi. How do i type alphabets when i surf the net? |

i'm planning to get a PSP but when trying to research about homebrew stuff, I notice that alot of the FAQs are still related to the old 1.5 firmware of the phat psp.
my question is, is there a difference between the way things work then with the way things work now in the PSP slim with 3.90m33 etc? I'd be really appreciative if someone can point me in the right direction to start and then I can begin my research more systematically. Thanks! ps: I've tried reading your threads and I have no idea what is kernel, etc etc. This post has been edited by Gilthoniel: Feb 21 2008, 02:39 AM |

You can unbrick if you have a pandora battery. If not go back to the shop & pay $$$ to get it unbricked

Download 3.52 M33 (1).. put the 352pbp as usual and follow the readme.. after your PSP is on 3.52 M33 (1), then upgrade incrementally to 3.52 M33-3 and then only to 3.90 M33

I'm back to 3.71m33-4 after upgrading through 3.80m33-5 and 3.90m33-2. I even patched the fatmsmod.prx when i'm at 3.90m33-2. Seems like i'm gonna stay at 3.71m33-4. I dont use Internet Radio and i cant use Skype (fat PSP). 3.71m33-4 is still good if u dont wanna use those 2 things. |

The only difference PSP from Sony Style and PSP outside is the firmware right? Can custom firmware PSP update to original firmware? If can, then original firmware PSP is exactly the same with Sony Style PSP?

Hey guys,
I'm very new to the psp scene. Is it safe to upgrade from 3.71m33-4 directly to 3.90m33? I have the files ready (390.pbp and the 3.90m33 file), just need confirmation. thanks UPDATE: I did the update. No problems whatsoever. 3.90m33-2 now. Hi, I'm planning to get deep red PSP slim, but how to I know if its really deep red model, instead of imitated cover?
From PSP Beginner Guide, it mentioned how to verify geninue battery pack, how about ac charger? Is it deep red PSP means PSP-2000DR? Meaning there should be this code printed on the board(after open UMD door)? This post has been edited by Heislyc: Feb 26 2008, 10:47 PM |

I'm not sure weather this question has been ask before or not.
Sorry if it had, but I'm still going to ask anyway. What's the different between FAT version, and the SLIM version? I mean in term of system differences, not physically. |

ok, so basically the system is the same?
-editted- i did a search just now in lyn. i just realized that we can select the results shown as posts/topics. this clear my mind =) QUOTE I think PSP2000 have 2 additional functions (PlayStation Spot and 1-Seg) compared to the others and these functions only work in Japan. 1-Seg requires "1Seg" TV tuner (model PSP-S310) peripheral addon. These functions are also available on other models with custom firware by setting Fake region to Japan. This post has been edited by strife01: Feb 29 2008, 09:04 PMAnother difference is it's region code. PSP2000 is Region 2 and PSP2006 is Region 3. With original firmware you can only watch region free or Region 2 UMD movies with PSP2000. You should be able to watch UMD movies of any region with custom firmware, but I've come across some UMD movies which only works on PSPs with the specified region. QUOTE(mickeynic @ Feb 27 2008, 10:40 PM) hi Pros is it Sandisk 8GB M2 card with MSPD adaptor? if thats the one it should work as I'm using it now with 3.90-M33-2, I think CFW below this version need a patch to used the 8GB card. And it also it support MagicGate, so I guess this card can be as good as original sony card?would love to know ASAP as im gonna transact if everything is ok Would love to know does 8gb m2 card with MSPD adaptor works on PSP? Or isit a MUST to have a MSPD card instead? consult needed |

I'm using 3.71 m33-4 right now and considering to upgrade to 3.90 m33-2. I would like to get some advice. Is it true that 3.71 m33-4 is more stable than 3.90 m33-2? I'm dying to play GTA LCS...

if u re those using PSP for gaming only, and would not be excited over the online radio, skype, go! messenger, then stay at 3.71 would be a better choice, until there's a game that u want to play that require 3.80
