I have check SG price, as low as $275. But i was told that it is running on new firmware 5.00 and the shop doesnt provide modification service. ??

i had the exact same problem.. 2 days ago.. but different game la.

now.. the problem is simple.

your PSP won't boot because it cannot read your memory card. the orange light keep blinking.

First, Take out the MSPD, and boot it.

If it boot , Good. your hardware is still ok.

2nd, Take another MSPD and plug it in and boot.

If it can boot = 1st MSPD faulty(try again and confirm that it's not working)
if cannot = possibly your MSPD reader(inside your psp ) is faulty.

NOTE ** did you happen to drop something into the MSPD reader? maybe the warranty sticker from your memstick?
my sticker came out and got stuck in the drive causing my memstick unreadable. Solution use tooth pick, take the sticker out. everything's fine again!

their family got alot of children.. so got 3 PSP
2 bought in SG and 1 from malaysia...
then the one from malaysia spoil and 2 SG psp still going strong

what makes u think so, singapore psp made of concrete?

all the psp comes from the same factory

what knows what the kids do to the psp? drop on floor etc? u never know

As far as I am concerned, custom firmware topics/matters are allowed in here. Pirated games are not. If you don't like that, get out of LYN. Simple.

Isnt it a little contradicting? How do u know I am talking bout pirated games in the first place? It could be me who bought the UMD and rip it out for my own pleasure because I wouldn't want to bring my UMD game with me all the time and I can hack my games just like what you guys did by hacking the psp as well.

How do u know I dont like it the rules and regulation? Freedom of speech doesn't come with freedom to offend.

Well, you may think dumping a UMD when you own it is right, but actually it is wrong under the EULA ruling system. There is only ONE legal copy, and that's the UMD itself. The very same applies to dvd's, vcd's or any other storage device. If you have even ONE copy of the iso, you're considered as a pirate.

hurmm.. i dont really understand my prob.. but i've handle it myself..
1st.. since my psp hang.. i take out the battery.. take out mspd..
and boot the psp.. reboot again with mspd.. done.. but the prob will keep happen if just do that.. so i recopy the ehem2 file n till now nothing happen..

just to ask.. how to format the mspd.. consider i want to format via psp.. how? n need to reinstall fw rite?
