QUOTE(laichong @ Jan 21 2008, 01:20 PM) whats the changes in 3.80 m33-5? From the readme CODE 3.80 M33-5
Changes:
- Fixed custom CPU clock not working in games - CPU clock has never (in any SE/OE/M33) be set at all in games that restarted using sceKernelLoadExec to use a subgame or reload themselves, after said restart happened (e.g. Castlevania). Fixed. - Added setting to recovery to hide PIC0.PNG and PIC1.PNG in the XMB game menu By default off, when on you will probably notice a faster browse in XMB games. This setting only applies to any kind of apps/games (pbp, iso) that load from MS, but not to UMD's. QUOTE(ruztynail @ Jan 21 2008, 02:26 PM) OMG another upgrade? kenng. ..and i want more

QUOTE(ykc @ Jan 23 2008, 07:25 PM) now only support .mp4 rumours saying that in future might support for divx, dunno how true another question, is all avi = divx ? I only saw .avi = divx. I would like to know too.... But it would be great if PSP can support H.264 @ x264 (.mkv). I prefer this than divx (.avi).

QUOTE(dattebayo @ Jan 23 2008, 09:39 PM) not necessary, avi just a container, some times is divx, sometimes is xvid (open source), and last time was Indeo/cinepak PSP can support h264 AVC, but only limited to baseline profile with not more than 500kbps of video bitrate Oh...thanks for the info. 500kbps huh....

QUOTE(Salience @ Jan 28 2008, 02:17 PM) please help? i got an eboot file for a game EBOOT.PBP how can i play this game? can i rename the file? please help! i'm using the 3.71 m33 software on psp slim No need to rename. Just put it in a folder (u can name the folder) and put the folder inside PSP/GAME/ then try to run it. If u cant start the game..try to change the folder to PSP/GAME150 or PSP/GAME371 (this is according to ur kernel and homebrew u wanna use). So it will be something like this...PSP/GAME/the game folder/EBOOT.PBP EDIT: u're using slim PSP so either PSP/GAME/ or PSP/GAME371/. This post has been edited by Lakum: Jan 28 2008, 02:36 PM

Maybe for 3.90m33-2 just like before. Err...i just assume...hehehehe...

QUOTE(bill3 @ Feb 16 2008, 10:42 AM) I think NTSC/J and NTSC/UC is applicable to PS2 but not PSP. PSP games are not region coded. PSP1002 is a Region 4 PSP intended for sale in Australia. It will only play Region 4 UMD movies if you are using OFW. You may be able to play most/some of other region UMD movies if you are using CFW.U sure about this? How to do it? Have u try to play other region UMD movie with ur cfw PSP? No...i'm not talking about ripping it to ISO.

QUOTE(tytons @ Feb 18 2008, 03:08 AM) hmm im abit confuse..if u got custom firmware..u cant play ori UMD? are there even fake UMD?i tot ppl only download games to mem sticks.. the other thing is..are there diff region PSP sold in kl?if so..y? Of course u still can play ori UMD. There are no fake UMD. QUOTE(bill3 @ Feb 18 2008, 02:49 PM) There's nothing to do. Even setting the Region Free option in recovery menu usually makes no difference. It depends on the UMD. From my collection of UMD movies, Region 2 UMDs from Japan seem to work only on Region 2 PSPs. I have one Region 2 UMD from Europe which works on PSP of any region. All of my Region 4 UMDs from Australia works fine on PSP of any region except for one which only works on my PSP1002 (Region 4). That mean cfw fake region still cant play any other region UMD movies. Maybe ur region 4 UMD movie is like....region free? Lol...dont know. I only got region 2 (japan) UMD and it cant be play on region 1 PSP. Region 2 PSP can play both region 2 UMD from japan or europe.

QUOTE(msn83235502 @ Feb 20 2008, 04:57 PM) dont bother about 1.5 kernel anymore.before this they are meant for fat and to run homebrews.but now developer make their homebrew runnable without 1.5 kernel because slim dont have it.so no need to worry. QUOTE(Cyrus2k @ Feb 20 2008, 05:28 PM) hmm, I noticed that too; but then why they are still releasing 1.50 kernel addon for 3.90? (btw. mine is phat one ) Some homebrew still using 1.50 kernel thats why DaX still releasing 1.50 kernel addon. Even PSP slim now can use 1.50 kernel after DaX create the TimeMachine v0.1 to install 1.50 kernel on PSP slim.

QUOTE(Existant @ Feb 24 2008, 02:05 AM) Sorry vorchiel , I know you are trying very hard to help me ! I am sorry for all the troubles .. Anyway , I put it into PSP/GAME150 , I once again , accessed the M33 thing . A command thingy came up : -- 3.52 M33 FIRMWARE CREATOR Loading 1.50 firmware... File 150.BPB couldn's be opened. Do I have to install the 1.50 firmare and everything too ? oh man .. Have u download the official 1.50 firmware eboot? U need official 3.52 eboot and 1.50 eboot, both rename to 352.PBP and 150.PBP (its not *.BPB ). And both of it must be in the M33CREATOR folder.
