I asked to downgrade to 500mbps since speed test result couldn't reach 800mbps. According to customer service, it costs monthly RM 159 + SST, about RM 21 different from my current cost. Worth to downgrade ?

I think RM90/m for 500mbps is actually a good deal.
Because normally you can't simply reduce monthly fixed fee, unless you downgrade the package to reduce the speed.

Although it has small difference at RM18 for 2 years.
RM90 is permanent and will not revert back to RM119 after 2 years.
I think this is important because, who knows year end when Gov announce the new budget, we will get another free speed boost. drool.gif

Maybe gonna boost from 500mbps to 800mbps or even 1Gbps? drool.gif
So even after the contract ended, you are only paying RM90/m for 1Gbps drool.gif

If RM90 plan still comes with free STD, or even free router or mode. Then I think it's one of the best deal out there.
You can sell the router and modem and get another "free" month.

Currently I'm still on SWU 3.0, RM119/m (free 6 months), it boosted last year from 300mbps>500mbps.
Contract gonna end in September. Let's see what I can get later. icon_idea.gif

If you are on 2Gbps plan, supplied with the black Skyworth GN630V modem with extra 2.5GE LAN1 port, how do you set this modem in bridge mode to supply the 2gbps speed to router? I found that the WAN/LAN2 port is 1gbps only? Can set the 2.5GE LAN1 port as WAN?

Currently on Dlink DPN-FX3060V in bridge mode connected to Asus ZenWifi BQ16.
Test was done internally on my Asus ZenWifi BQ16. Was doing 1gbps without problems.

Update on this issue, requested TM to reset the port which solves the problem yesterday but today speed dropped again. bangwall.gif

Anyone using DIR-X3060Z?

My customer is using this router and I just found out that there is no firewall for IPv6 on this Telekom router. The current firmware is DIR-X3060Z_240719_1.0.6, is this the latest firmware?

Checked in the settings and there is no option for IPv6 firewall, weird.

It ain't extra 2.5G extra port but primary WAN port. Either in bridge mode or standalone modem, LAN1 is WAN. Although if u're using 100Mbps plan.

How about try to use MAC address clone at WAN setting of your Asus? My slow upload issue needs this setting to overcome whatever TM was messing around at their end.

Your problem, is it your area only that TM did something or everyone will be affected?
Whereabouts roughly are you?
