Currently on Dlink DPN-FX3060V in bridge mode connected to Asus ZenWifi BQ16.

Test was done internally on my Asus ZenWifi BQ16. Was doing 1gbps without problems.

No free 6 months.

Giving up already. Went to TMPoint at Menara TM, said the same thing, SWU 5.0 - 500mbps at RM139 free 6mths.
Asked why so many others getting 500mbps at RM90, they kept asking for proof, give account # to verify.

Probably need to switch to Astro already. How good/bad is Astro fibre?

I just finished dealing with this issue, I was on the 1gbps plan i was sneakily upgraded to the 2gbps plan. I found the upgrade email in my junk email as I autopay my connection.

My speed went from around 1gbps to 80-90mbps overnight. Took me 13 days of lodging tickets after tickets and issue not resolved. I lodged a complain with MCMC against TM and finally on the 15th day of extremely slow internet they sent someone over to fix my problem.

TM agents was absolutely useless in resolving the issue. Essentially my modem couldn't support 1mbps according to technician but he cannot do anything as the service order for him was to investigate the slow connection and not replace any boxes.

Same here. I get free upgrade from 500mbps to 800mbps but speed test result around 500mbps only.

No free 6 months for RM90 for 500mbps. Only free Disney+ Hotstar (Basic) for a year.

Try go TM Point Cyberjaya if you can.

Did you subscribe for 1Gbps plan from day one or upgraded from 800mbps plan?

I am currently using the 2.5G black gpon box by TM and initial test shown I have full 1gbps speed. My free upgrade was from 800mbps to 1gbps but was many months ago. The slow down only happened few days ago.

Did you contact TM on your progblem?

I think since your contract still not expire, they won't give you this offer because your SWU 4.0 already got free 6 months subscription.
Besides some SWU 4.0 contract is 36 months if you take their TV.

Conclusion is, contract not expired, then no bargaining power.

Well, the Astro fiber is still going to use UniFi in your case. So it makes no difference but TM will counter offer again once you have the transfer ID from Astro. So, you will still get RM 90 for 500Mbps eventually.

Just got my unifi mobile sim cancelled. So far no effect on my fibre plan.
Now must just wait for my prorated refund for the sim card, and wait for my new bill for fibre to confirm that everything is okay

I think the Unifi Mobile mandatory bundle with SWU plan is a scam. It's just the TM Point branch want to meet their monthly subscription quota.
If you look at TM webpage. All postpaid Unifi Mobile plan have no contract. So they tell you 3 months subscription minimum is purely a way to hit the branch KPI.
What I think is, once your SWU plan order is completed and reflected in unifi selfcare portal, you can terminate the Unifi Mobile immediately.

Did you tell them "Astro offer you Rm90 for 500mbps? If you are existing Astro subscriber, you can sign up their fibre and get a transfer ID. With the transfer ID, burgain with TM for the same offer.

No. The most they can ask is to see if you have actual transfer ID from Astro fibre.

I reported to customer service but they mentioned I need to pay at least RM 53 + SST if found out it is not TM side problem. So I hold on 1st, ask around if anyone having same problem as mine.

Mine is free upgrade from 500mbps to 800mbps. It costs monthly RM 189.75.
How to get RM 119 ?
