Finally a proper place to talk about TnG eWallet.

Finally managed to use TnG wallet at KFC in Low Yat Plaza. Took a few tries for the super or manager to figure it out. Apparently it’s the first time someone asked to pay with TnG.
Sungai Long still say cannot whenever I call them to ask. Here in LYP, TnG can also be used at AllIT, Jayakom and Thundermatch. And also Boost Juice. How about using TnG card for LRT and monorail? Can it direct deduct the credit from my TnG wallet too? |

I installed the apps then linked card for paydirect. I used in LDP money deduct from e-wallet but I didnt see the 10X 20% rebate... Then I refer my friend for the tng apps sign up only I start getting 5X rebate. Am I missing anything here???

As i know starting android nougat mulitple notification on same apps will combine to 1 notification,
But tng e w showing 2 notification separate Hope will update it combine mulitple notification  |

Anyone manage to purchase tng reload pin from any petrol station or hypermarket yet?
Got a merchant list from tng CS last time, went to ask but none of them know about tng reload pin at all. Wanted to utilize CC with petrol/groceries CB which i used to top up tng card at jaya grocer.

sometimes paydirect does not work even when you have enough credit in your e-wallet.
Better top up some money to the physical card as backup. Their tech is questionable, lol |

just to share Tealive at Genting Highland near arcade area does accept TnG but the 2.50 promotion just work differently.
I order Classic Roasted Milk Tea with Coconut Jelly Large cost me RM5.70, i think when i order the same else where is RM3.70 with TnG promotion |

Yesterday tried to pay at Popular Leisure Mall (the same place where I had a bad experience with all the staff having no idea about the app), and surprisingly the staff was well trained this time, buttery smooth experience.
Paid RM 12.65, and received RM 2.40 cashback. I'm willing to give TnG a chance if I can get such smooth experience most of the times, some hiccups are forgivable though. |

Tried to pay at Popular Leisure Mall (paid 2 times previously and it was successful), cashier already know that I wanna pay using TnG without informing her but another staff said "system down"...

If I add a touch n go card prior to its expiry date to tng wallet and reload it, will the card be usable when I flash it at highway after the card's expiry date?
by the way, I got a RM5 reward in my wallet for adding card 😀 |

Saw this at Lowyat Plaza outlet.  UPDATE: Not really a good experience, at first cashier told me they just accepted TnG yesterday, manager still haven't taught them on how to use it yet. And then, she asked her senior, senior had no idea as well, wanted to pay with cash but the senior insisted to use it and told me to wait, called the manager and then only figured out on how to use it. Your concern is valid.What is the point using TNG e-Wallet to pay/buy something when I always can use CC to pay directly? Double effort on CC --> e-Wallet --> merchant. Since, only if bank stop rewarding cash rebates/point to e-Wallet reload in coming trend. But, if I'm using TNG or any other e-Wallet to transfer money to other friend/user, YES, it's an advantage. Whether you do it for split bill, pay debt or exchange with cash, up to you. You can't do that with CC. |

It's disappointing that I cannot transfer balances between ewallet and Tng card, or even reload my TnG card using the TnG app. I still have to reload at the machine, or toll booth "Tambah Nilai".

have you guys read the TnC of TnG's ewallet?
i got turned off pretty quickly at how much private and personal information it requests from you. plus, the disclosure agreement of how funds MIGHT leave your account without notice really swayed me off onto alternatives. |

Quick Payment failed to work as my wallet amount is insufficient. So top up manually. RM5 was instant deducted from the total tickets amount. No need to wait for CB later like Boost. |

no additional benefit using this quick payment for scan & pay, using visa paywave is faster..
risky for rfid or paydirect usage too, how fast can each transaction get authorized at the toll is a big question mark. i rather top up to my ewallet maintaining sufficient balance. |
