simplesmile TS please give this thread a proper title like 'TnG eWallet Discussion Thread V1' or something like that, you can tag this thread as an 'e wallet' thread as well!

Also, just a suggestion, maybe include/allow discussions for TnG card, PayDirect, RFID in this thread as well?

The first post should have basic information about TnG e wallet too.

Btw, congrats on the new discussion thread TS!

Happened to me before, once I think. Somehow, it deducted from card instead of wallet even though that toll is Paydirect enabled.

So basically all tolls in Klang Valley are PayDirect enabled?

Aside from making it available nationwide, I also hope they will do the same for public transports as well.

And seeing the current progress with RFID, I have a feeling that they would scrap it in the future just like what they did with the QR Transit previously, things won't be better when they keep using outdated version of a modern tech and consider it as the future of our country.

does the touch card must have available credit to be able to use PayDirect?

my situation.
i have rm8 in my tng wallet.
i linked my ic with tng wallet.
my ic has RM0 tng actual credit.
when i tapped in tng toll, it failed: card has no balance

Always have at least some amount in your TnG card (probably RM 10) as a backup...

PayDirect isn't that stable yet, sometimes it doesn't work with SmartTag either.

Anyone manage to purchase tng reload pin from any petrol station or hypermarket yet?

Got a merchant list from tng CS last time, went to ask but none of them know about tng reload pin at all.

Wanted to utilize CC with petrol/groceries CB which i used to top up tng card at jaya grocer.

TnG machine kiosk (the blue machine that tops up your TnG card) is the only one I found that sells reload pin...

Just use your CC to reload your e wallet, it's more convenient.

Yesterday tried to pay at Popular Leisure Mall (the same place where I had a bad experience with all the staff having no idea about the app), and surprisingly the staff was well trained this time, buttery smooth experience.

Paid RM 12.65, and received RM 2.40 cashback.

I'm willing to give TnG a chance if I can get such smooth experience most of the times, some hiccups are forgivable though.

anyone know how to turn off paydirect?

I wanna use finish all my credit in my touch and go card first before use apps money.
*
I don't think you should do that first...

PayDirect is still not completely stable yet, so imagine if you don't have a backup if it doesn't work...

It's always better to have some amount in your physical TnG card in case PayDirect doesn't work sometimes.

Actually quinpay also can pay tnb. but this e wallet look suck and doesnt look like a proper e wallet
*
Haha even the name sucks...

I'm starting to see it slowly appearing in some chinese kopitiams, wonder what's the point of accepting some unknown dodgy e wallet when there are better ones like TnG and Boost around...

If want me use it, might as well I use Mcash instead lol.
