anyone can confirm whether TMpoint Quill City Mall already closed? at here now level 3 but can't find TMpoint

That was a useful outlet, busy but not too busy and could do everything.
Where else are they on the Ampang side of the city?

Hi, we used to have problems with TM DIR-850L router where internet would frequently disconnect and Unifi TV go down especially under heavy load (e.g. download large files).

Now we replace router with TP-Link Archer C60 but new problem emerge which is certain Unifi TV channels become stuck and when TV is stuck, internet also become slow. If TV changed to a channel that is fine, internet will also go back to normal.

Anyone know where the problem is and how to resolve it? Maybe it’s the modem that has problem?

Both sound like router issue. Test with another router.

Hi, finally I am going to install unifi for my house. I just realized that 30mbps package is limited to 60gb quota. Is it already effective this year? Else, I have to consider the 100mbps already.....

Am I still entitle to the turbo upgrade?

cry.gif why not for the turbo. I waited more than a year for this Unifi...
Btw, I didnt research much on the networking technology. I hear that unifi could connect back to the copper infrastructure. Is that so? correct me if I am wrong.
I know our fiber infra tech is different from other country where they can have parallel speed for both upload and download speed if I didnt remember wrongly.

Turbo is pointless if you don't have a good router and devices that can support the speed, so don't get too depressed about it.

It will be until July 2019, as some have said, so you might need to wait. Are you even eligible for 300Mbps? If you can't wait, better to go for the new plans which is 100Mbps.

Paging any AX router and Galaxy S10 owners. Maybe they can give us a Speedtest. I think next year will be the year for AX or WiFi6.
*
One local guy already did this:

https://nasilemaktech.com/wifi-6-speed-test/

In summary: 720 mbps download.

AX on laptops should be even higher. Smallnetbuilder tested Intel 9260 card, which is an AC card that supports 160 MHz channels (similar to AX) and managed to exceed 800 mbps on Asus AX router.

TM's speed is already high. The reality is besides OOKLA's speedtest, very few apps/sites can actually fully max out the speed. My own tests: Windows updates top out at 300 mbps, Netflix download tops out at 150-200 mbps, Steam probably around 100 mbps. 100 mbps is already high for most of of us.

Very impressive. Currently the fastest I have tested is around 850Mbps on 5Ghz AC. MacBook Pro Retina 15" 2013 5Ghz AC to MacBook Pro Retina 13" 2013 Gbe. None of my phones support more than 2 streams. Wifi supplied by Aztech FG7008GR.

800Mbps+ iPerf3 from MacBook Pro Retina 2013 (USB3 GBe Ethernet) to MacBook Pro Retina 2013 (5Ghz AC 80MHz)
But not a real life test. Just iPerf3.
*couldn't find the Macbook to Ubuntu screenshots. That was a bit higher at 880-900Mbps.

What kind of testing is this...

1 large file (1.6GB) vs 2 large files (2.8GB), all other WIFI stds have similar results except for 5GHz AX?
9.06 vs 9.04, 32.18 vs 31.37, 17.39 vs 17.02, but 5GHz AX 90.32 vs 66.67

The fastest 5GHz AC result is a paltry 36.36MB/s or 290.88Mbit/s. Come on. I can get 300Mbit/s at the very least 1 floor down with a cheap TP-Link and iPhone 8 all day everyday.

Reading data from the phone vs Writing data from the phone, all other results have changes except for 5GHz AX @ 90.32MB/s?

Ignore this kind of test results. It is useless without actual speedtest or iPerf results. I also can write very interesting numbers there. tongue.gif

Based on my previous test, AC is faster than AX. Asus just released a new improved AX firmware for RT-AX88U. Going to test it soon.
