Who can help me check coverage?
Recently, there was an installation at my taman by contractors.
I saw a white box installed at the pole behind my house.
He said that unifi is coming soon by the end of the month.
I checked at TM website, only shows broadband package, not unifi.

Just OK, if you can afford buy your own router.

Depends on your luck I guess. My experience with the TP-Link C1200 is that it just stopped working, no LED lights lit. Just stopped. After reboot works again. blink.gif rclxub.gif

Will get my own router but not at the moment.

Any recommend webaite? Diff website give diff speed result, diff device diff result also :confuse:
*
Depends on whether your devices are wired or wireless and also how fast your package is. For wired devices, the stock router should be fine. If you have a high speed package, 100 Mbps or more, and you have a lot of recent wireless devices it is definitely better to get the best dual band router you can afford. How fast you do in speed tests depends on how recent your devices are not just the router it must be said.

Same here. Unfortunately reboot doesn't help in my case, not like I'm using the C1200 but good to keep as spare. Now it is good as dead. I will re-try again and call TM to replace since it has 1 year warranty which will end in Dec. I have to be quick on this.

Same case as mine. My advice is find a good TM agent. My TM agent search my address in their database and found my address. It is a bit different from my real address. He said that the TM website one is just for public viewing and usually not up to date. Usually when Unifi is entering your area, they will be TM agent come from house to house to promote like in my area or they will setup a booth somewhere. Sometime you need to play with your address detail. Like for example in my case, my agent search for 38C and didn't found it. He change it into 38-C, then suddenly my address got unifi coverage biggrin.gif

I am paying RM149 for 10Mbps prior to turbo. Same price after turbo for 100Mbps.

Based on my calculation...

After turbo, Unifi forces Aneka+ pack down my throat rather than reducing my plan price to RM129. Gave me RM10 discount to make the final amount to RM149.

100Mbps (RM129) + Aneka Pack (RM 30) - Promo Discount (RM10) = RM149

Hi guys, need some help.

My sis unifi account (unifi lite 10mpbs RM119 - about 3years) was transfer the ownership to me.
During applying Transfer of ownership, I was mention upgrade to RM129 100mbps.
Now everything is done. But question is I unable to get new modem & router from them?
I asked from live chat, the staff told me is for existing customer. it is unfair?
And they charge me for advance payment, was unifi billing charges is advance? - unifi staff said telco always charge advance. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

You can check on switching to new Unifi 100M BEST for RM129.
With new contract.

The Live chat is useless. Go to TMPoint or call 100 to request for new equipment. They will ask technician to come and change for you since your contract already restart after change to RM129 100mb. UniFi billing is always advance, even back during streamyx time.

Yes, that is another option. It is unfair to sign a 24 months contract without new equipment provided.

I think your original 10M was RM129 + RM20 voice pack = RM149. If so, if you don't need voice pack, maybe you can see if you can remove that to reduce price. But new Unifi 100M BEST includes STD20, so it is more worth it. You must try to insist for new equipment as it is a new contract.

Also: Maybe you want to get Ultimate pack instead for total RM159. Maybe then they will give you new equipment as that pack comes with STB.

Where do you stay? if KL go to menara TM or QCM. Those small deelers only can do sign up. TM seriously need to push for online service to upgrade/downgrade package.
