No need to terminate bro, later port taken by others. Just go to tmpoint and change to RM129 package. Contract restart back to 24 months.

If the call plan is included free, then you cannot remove it. Example, UniFi 100mbps RM129 is inclusive of free call plan, therefore you cannot remove it to save RM20.

Most of their newer modem can run on that speed on lan. If you are dreaming that they will provide good high end router for you to run at a faster wifi, no way.

Actualy for those who need the STB it's a good idea to subscribe 139 package, use for a month or 2 and then change to 129. You can still watch using the STB after the change.

On the other hand, is it possible to flash the crap dlink 850L with retail firmware to remove the @unifi in WiFi SSID?

Don't think there is any solution unless you willing to change to Time or Maxis and pay cheaper price, assuming that one of those are available at where you stay.

You can request for new equipment by calling 100 since your contract renewed for another 2 years.

No quota until end of this year... TM should provide this pack without quota, I'm sure many who doesn't need high speed will move to this basic plan.

The turbo starts on August and it is not just flick one switch and whole nation get turbo-ed. It is done in stages. I'm sure the email did not state that you will be turbo-ed in July.

I believe the difference will be whether or not free calls are included.

You need to visit TMPoint to do it. I am in the opinion that TM should allow us to do it online through some verification, not everything need to go to their counter.

Looks like you have to manually go to TMPoint to change it to 100mbps best in order to include the free call. Let the upgrade begin and update us when you talk to them.

To answer your questions,
1. Yes. Just inform the person in charge at TMPoint that you are upgrading and wish to keep the landline number. Your landline will be migrated to UniFi.
2. It depends. Some will not exceed 60gb but others will. Streaming at 4k for example, will definitely go over 60gb. The quota for 30mbps will not be implemented until end of this year, so enjoy while you can.
3. Read first post at first page, you will find out what modem provided.
