Dear all,

Last month we have the promo that any 2 new referral, the current/old Bigpay user able to switch to the new master wave card.

I have successfully referral 2 new users to bigpay, i saw the invitation to convert the card, however from this week the option to convert has been disappear.

Is there a grace period to enable to switching to masterwave?

Mine is gone too and i tried to chat with the cs and that dude was very helpful. He told that he can manually help to to upgrade for free and he thought it will be better to do the upgrade after the holiday seasons.

Shanghai, I realise union pay is the worst in terms of exchange rate. On the first day, I tried with a union pay card and the exchange rate was close to 0.64.
Shanghai. The acceptance rate is quite high. Just not sure why the same terminal accepts my Maybank MasterCard but failed to process my bigpay.

Which union pay card did you use?

Could it be that the union pay card that you use charged you bank fee? According to the rate given at their website, the exchange rate is around 0.60xxx
https://www.unionpayintl.com/cardholderServ...ate?language=en

If you use BOC travel prepaid card, then you can just store RMB into the card, so no bank fee. If you use PBB Union Pay debit card, there will be a 1.25% bank fee.

And of course, since you can use bigpay, then no bank fee is always better as you get lower rate.

i am wondering if you are going for trip just swipe and enjoy the moment which only lasted for few days.

if every times also need to check rate, that would be a stress trip. if cheap then buy today, no cheap then maybe tomorrow or the day after tomorrow before fly back to Msia only buy.
*
very true...

if everyday need to check rates before purchasing minor stuff that costs like rm30-50 ain't worth the effort...not living the moment

unless it's big purchase like >rm1k then worthwhile to check rate before deciding which card to use

Boost already stated that it'll take 2-3 business days. So today is about right. I would be grateful if they don't take longer than 3 business days, because I've seen people complaining that it takes very long or having their withdrawal reversed.

Super fast.
Your withdrawal request on 24/12 (22/12 and 23/12 are not working day).
You got the fund in less than 48 hours (25/12 is not a working day).

Maybank may give you better return (RM100 rebate) than using Bigpay. So I didn't use BP for oversea transactions for this month.

If you referred someone prior to the promotion, then they're not counted. You have to refer someone within the promotion period although based on the recent feedbacks, the promotion seems to have expired.
