We're releasing a new version of the app today. We've added a feature that allows you to split bills and request money from your friends. Example: person A goes for lunch with person B and person C. Person A pays for the entire bill, goes to BigPay and sends a split bill request to person B and person C (provided they have BigPay too). Person B and person C will receive a notification and be able to either send the money directly or deny the request. Receipt can also be added to the request for everyone to see

Now... We’re introducing a fair usage policy when it comes to credit card top up. From now on, there will be a monthly limit of RM10,000 on credit card top ups only. Top ups via debit cards and online banking remain unlimited. Why are we doing that? Because we’re committed to saving you money and making financial services fair for everyone - but certain services are costly due to third party fees.

We encourage you to continue topping up via debit cards and online banking, which will remain unlimited as said earlier. We have a lot of really cool things coming, including some features you've been asking for here on Lowyat. I'll be replying to some questions later today, but you can already start shooting...

You will not withdrawal more than RM20,000* per calendar month.
* RM10,000 beginning balance at the first day of the month.

You will not use debit card / online banking to top up then withdraw cash.

Ya lo, some people still say prepaid card can avoid u for overspending etc and credit card u using future money ....

Basically they're referring to cash flow and interest-free period. Although at the relatively small amounts being discussed here, it really doesn't matter (much more important when you're a business, which is why GST forced lots of smaller shops to close down, cash flow constriction).

So while waiting for this, my balance of 200-22=178 is stuck n unusable? Not going to use BP for petrol anymore.

If you guys love BP but hates it whenever problems coming up when doing online transactions, then try to adjust your usage patten. For online, purely use cc instead of using BP. For normal swiping or paywave, then only use BP. This will work almost perfectly. Sacrifice that few pennies Big points la in exchange of a peace of mind.

gonna try on the first withdrawal from atm but unsure on few item.
Can anyone done the withdrawal advise on below?
1) Source of withdrawal should be credit card or saving account?
2) I saw cases where fail withdrawal will deduct the amount from the app as well, can i know how long it needs to rectify this issue? Any supporting document we need to provide to bigpay?
3) How do we know maximum withdrawal limit of the ATM machine? Do we just keyin any amount like 3k / 4k?

2) only one case reported here in Lyn if I remember correctly, best to refer to BP CS for assistance, if you wish to understand for reference, suggest to get feedback from the member reported the case
3) try and error on HLB ATM / CRM that reported will get 4k max.

Today morning all 16 reloads went through with no issue, sometime OTP page take a bit of time to load only.
I've selected credit card and it was successful. I think no harm whichever you choose as worst that can happen is error shown only.

Last I used was 11 sep, no issue, not sure is it new payment gateway in Oct

Boost shows your phonebook name AND Boost registered name (presumably name on the IC) side by side when you select the name and then shows the registered name when you key in the amount.
BigPay shows only your phonebook name when you select and key in the amount. BigPay registered name will only appear in the transaction list, AFTER you send the money.

You will see the problem when your friend changed their number and your phone book is not updated.

I've been using BigPay for Shopee... but now when using the app I can't use the bigpay card (but its already been added ) instead showing my old CC which I no longer use... when I check the saved cards the BP is there. Same issue here, it was in my profile but it doesn't appear when I wanna pay

Thing is... my very old cards I used to save appeared instead ._. but the existing cards didn't appear.

I think the cc gateway on app is probably down... on PC I think it was fine but I wanna use my vouchers

Were you guys directed to Cybersource or iPay gateway ? There is indeed a problem with Cybersource payment gateway since 12am today.
