https://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=362

i couldn't identify. please advise. did you go down to ICA to update or just email is good enough?

I think you can do it after your approval. ICA will have a form for your employer to fill when you complete your formalities.

Need advice guys.

Found a job in SG.
Was asked of expected salary. What should I put for best result (not looking greedy but fair salary).
Am getting 8k in Malaysia. Finance Manager role in SG.

I already checked payscale and also job listing salaries but the gap can be huge at time.
Can't really gauge what to expect.

Serious? Is that reasonable? drool.gif
From what I gather, most people in this forum hardly able to get 1:1 let alone an increment.

Hi guys,

Any other ways to open up a bank account without telephone bill? I am using prepaid currently.
They are all asking for telephone bill >.<
*
Just solved this. OCBC can allow using Rental Agreement with Stamp (Pay Stamp Duty).
Recent rule to use telephone bill is harsh/troublesome for a newcomer in Sg.

I'm in finance too (FA, not manager)
In my experience the Finance Manager role for big companies can be around the 7-10k range
So you can gauge yourself, depending on whether you have a lot of FM experience, have a big team reporting to you, etc

listed co finance manager's salaries are around that range.

MNC's FC or FM salaries also around that range, but they usually cover the whole Asia Pacific's region.

i am not worry about my image on the company (A) if i have the opportunity to join B

i am more concern with MOM when they receive company A application for my EP then cancel (if B company offer me)
then B company apply EP again for me.

Only tender once you got the In Principal Approval letter for EP application for the Company B's job . laugh.gif

Just some random musings on the 1:1 thing.

If you earn rm5k in MY, lots of ppl will say you should ask for sgd5k in SG to be fairly compensated.

But if you earn sgd5k in SG and wanna go back MY, lots of ppl will say must get at least rm10-15k to be fairly compensated.

So which ratio is the 'correct' one? smile.gif

I think both biggrin.gif

For me now I think the later option is more "correct"
