So fast

For anyone porting from UMOBILE to WEBE, how long it approximately takes until you can use new webe sim card? I was informed by WEBE they just closed my delivery order and have filed port in request to UMOBILE and it may take 3-5 working days..Sooo long.

Took me exactly 5 working days to port out from Umobile.

normal mnp process la. they cannot promise 1 day, then later umobile got issue, cannot meet 1 day liao

if fast and without issue from umobile, will take as fast as 1 day.

Aiyohhh they go for the maximum days. When i ported from celcom to umobile before, it was exactly 24 hours from the request.

got my card! speed is awesome!!

For me Umobile P70 + Member Line + Member Line MNP to webe around 3 Days

I port in only 1 line with no subline. Hopefully it can complete faster.

Btw, celcom line always drop at my area. Sometimes just went zero bar. Not stable

Is it just me or celcom has been dropping my line down to 1mbps?

for me, i MNP from Maxis to Webe, already 5 working days, still not successful porting out yet.

like i said lor, usual standard mnp SLA (service level agreement) to release is up to 5 days. all telco use this number to manage customer's expectation.

if they overpromise, they'll getting screwed by us for taking longer than promised.


in previous webe thread, i did say that telco play dirty tricks (e.g. wrong IC number) to delay mnp when it's ending quarter, e.g. march, june, september, december. this is to keep their subs reported higher when closing quarter.

Is anyone actually using this Webe Home Broadband right now? i just wanna know how its actually works? Only get a sim card? or with USB dongle? How its connect house's computer and laptop?

subs to webe last week, choose self pickup at nearest tmpoint ... went there and they said simcard should arrive this or next week

Too bad loh. I choose Delivery option, received the sim card on third day.

Webe Broadband can use any device support 4G FDD Band 5 / 850Mhz and can hotspot/tethering

BUT

Webe Mobile cant Hotspot/tethering

i using right now.. as long you have Devices that operate in LTE bands 5, 38 and/or 40..
fyi.. some place cover by band 5 only and some only band 38/40..

webe technical live chat support like take forever to reply msg a.. haiz.. try few times d.. same case.. wait wait wait no reply a..

Same goes to hotline 011 1000 1000... Congestion detected everywhere...Cell towers... Chatroom... Hotline... All congested edy...

did anyone face the problem like after ordered and the card has been charged, but webe showed not yet pay, then after the validity date, it showed not valid anymore.. now still waiting to live chat with webe representative..

My tac from cimb is very late. Like 5 minutes late. Is that normal? Very hassle when i need to do online banking

so guard take it on my behalf

still it depend on location..
if within klang valley..should be within 1 day or 2

in my case...order online..
go online webe chat to get tracking number
next day morning...check online status and if stated delivery out from shah alam, in my case clear line courier
then definitely in afternoon will get the package

Livechat is useless. I used livechat yesterday to inform that I have collected my sim card at the courier branch so I wanted them to close my order and proceed my MNP request. Today when I call WEBE (after 15 minutes of waiting), I was informed my order has yet to be closed. So, call center customer officer close the order today and proceed with MNP process.

I've messaged them and they are using Line courier company.

I think will get in the afternoon.

depends. new telco, coverage expanding, more to improve.

only way is to signup yourself and try.


same like other telco, some area fast some area slow. this is wireless broadband anyway.

still acceptable. eventho not multi digits speed. the quota always make me smile

Waiting period for the sim card so far was 2 days max. My principal line upon receiving I didn't tell them that I received nor that the stupid courier. So port over was delayed till more than a week. After live chat and a phone call all was done in less than an hour.

My supplementary 1 line.... Port over was less than 2 days.

So far so good. Lesson learned by myself is that upon receiving is to inform them so they can immediately conduct port out request from the soon to be ex network.

So far my experience with their live chat and call in is good.

technically if it is unlocked band and support band 38 or 40, should be no problem to support Webe..

guys. need advice for phone around RM800 for webe

i bought one redmi note 4 from lazada for net price of under RM650 after discount and cashback from cc.

works great with webe broadband and able to hotspot out flawlessly. normal usage with webe mobile works fast as well.

You need a phone that can be easily rooted and longevity battery... Redmi Note 3 Pro, PERIOD!

Guess what ??? I immediately open up live chat and asked them regarding my 2nd line (MNP DiGi prepaid to WEBE) registered on 26th December and received SIM card on the 28th December 2016. Yet the porting still shows "processing".

The feedback was? "The delivery process was not close" which means either Line Clear did not feedback them (Webe) or Webe themselves could have missed out my application (whereas paid/settled for the so called processing fee RM106)?

Without the need of doing anything?

When is the date of auto bill deduction?

Luckily i'm not sell MY PHONE yet
hope my area Webe can support Band 40

It's highly depends on location, i guess..

Both in Klang and Shah Alam (seksyen 14)... 3G speeds is OK, I think...
