Webe now using 850mhz band for their connection.

I believe more Huawei and ZTE modem supports webe rather than Dlink. Can check list of supported devices here:

I bought webe broadband yesterday somehow it doesnt work on s7 edge even if i put the sim in 1st slot. Bought a huawei mifi e5577 and it works fine (btw huawei e5377 would be more user friendly since it has an info screen) . Getting 3mbps speed in Sentul area.

I'm using e5577 now no information screen. A little inconvenient because I can't immediately check my data usage, battery level and signal strength.
If you want convenience and dont mind spending extra RM40 then get the E5377 because it has info screen.

Other than the above, everything works great and there is Huawei Hifi Link app, can install on your phone (android/ios) to monitor data usage, battery level and signal strength.

As for battery, no problem because e5577 has a usb cable, I leave it connected to my laptop or I can connect to my powerbank. So far no issues with battery finishing for e5577.
For webe signal, my observation and other forumer pointed out, better to leave the mifi modem stationary. Once you move it the signal becomes weak. Not sure if webe is ideal for road trips but I use it at home so its fine.
