I still worry the bank not to approve waive Journey card annual fee. Cos I'm planning to apply this card.

Hope the card holders here provide some comments.

Already provided my experience, what’s the thing you are still concerned about? First year is free anyway. Use first and think later.

I applied thru Ringgitplus with RM900 touch n go ewallet offer. What's your worry? Too many cards?

In the app, left side menu after you login, goto 360rewards, only can withdraw cashback after you accumulate RM30.

I have to say sibeh annoying this SCB... if you dont call from your main line, they wont bother with your request. Queue to talk is horrendous. They just charged SST but I think Im so fed up with this stupid bank app that I would pay the SST and cancel.

Update:

I just called them to cancel and guess what... my call is terminated because they are experiencing high volume calls. The option to cancel card is grey out in the app. I just dont know how on earth this bank exist.

If you really want a card, apply lor.

Just be aware about the service based on others' comments here: unless you're a Priority customer (or whatever the equivalent is, can't remember), you can't just simply call (unless you erm, abuse, the "emergency" line) or live chat with them (can only send secure message on the app). AF and SST waiver also got hurdles.

At the end of the day.. YMMV.

Very difficult to find a human to talk to. But some cards still have good benefit (i.e. SC Journey for PPL access).

Requested cancelation of my SimplyCash through the app last week since my annual fee renewal coming up next month, don't really use it enough and cashback mechanism abit kek.

Retention team called today and offered full waiver upon 3 transactions (no min amount) after annual fee charge is posted. Additional RM100 Cashback upon total RM200 spending before end of next month.

Ok la take the RM100 for now and see again later

I think SCB Journey was the only card having 90k as salary requirement and now even weirder with 96k. Can’t they standardize with other banks like 100k or something?

So far i do not have problem getting full AF waiver for Simply Cash. just click click on app. last time still need to call.
But i am actively using the card getting up to monthly cashback cap
