hitting same error "Sorry, we are unable to continue with your application online. Please visit our branch with regard to this application."
not sure if they're trying to sell financial products on face to face?

I use the same method to request them grant for full waiver instead of 50%. However, today receive the 50% AF rebate adjustment. So it is RM125 for simpy cash and RM87.50 for Liverpool, technically no point continue to use the card. The hard earned cashback is just use it to offset the 50% AF. After two months, redeemed all the cashback, gonna cancel straight.
*
i did the same and granted me 50% but told them i wanna cancel card,

few days later said ok give me full waiver

but before full waiver processed, the 50% was shown....

maybe due to processing time for first waive of 50% and during that time i asked for further full waiver again

this morning statement shown zero charges, means 100% charged moved to 50% waiver then finally 0% charged

need step by step, ask for further waive or use the usual method, cancel the card

I tried canceling the card but it is greyed out. haha. no outstanding, no autodebit, etc. I wonder why they don't let me cancel. I didn't swipe since June after they waived off the AF for my journey card. Has anyone encounter this?

After so many working days later, I finally heard back about my AF waiver and they're only gonna give 50% off.

Further in the response, they also included a another reference number (different from the initial one) for AF waiver. Should I just wait and hope? Should I just call?

Got the first half off AF. Called them (again) to ask for full AF waiver. Person on the other side of the call helped me put a request in, gave reference no., etc. Rest of the AF got reversed a couple days ago, and I just saw it in the app today.

Frankly, besides the 3 month, 0% installment feature and the high CL, I dunno if I still want to hang on to this card..

Smart card feature: 3 month, 0% interest installment, but has to be at least RM500 transaction (FlexiPay Plus) - https://av.sc.com/my/edm/scbr10483/index.html

Whats the easiest way to cancel the card?

Tried doing it in the app but wasn't able to as there is still some outstanding balance.

Can I visit a branch to cancel and settle the balance? The last time I went to an SC branch for some card related matter they directed me to call the hotline or use the app lol

Hello guys, so how's your experience using the Journey card so far? I'm using the priority visa card but I see that it's not that great.

And how flexible is SCB waiver on AF?

Beside using it to access Plaza Premium Lounge ...
i really no swipe anything on this Journey card, lolz..

But always use this card for cancellation so that their retain team will waive both my Journey & Simply cards' annual fee (RM600 & RM250) & SST (each year)

However, year 2023 i totally no kenak annual fee at all for these 2 cards, i wonder why.

I never pay any AF for Journey card since I had it from 2017. I never spend 60k per year, not even RM 6k or RM 600 sometimes. laugh.gif
I ask for waiver every year and they will waive. This year, they didn't allow so I asked to cancel, immediately offered with waiver. laugh.gif

In addition, I get RM 25 cash back every year for SST with 3x spending no minimal amount.

Previously quite easy to waive by calling them (call option now very hard) but now seems like a lot only 50% discount for AF sweat.gif

Right now i waiting this month or next month see any AF charges or not sweat.gif

My first card with them was 2013, hence it was printed from 2013 onward but I think for WM was 2017.
After so many years, this year was the most difficult for me but at least they still waived for me. So, I decided to keep it.
I still have other banks, even without SCB I'm OK actually but since they agreed, ok la continue another year.

Yeah but I have other cards for that too. Their miles conversion for dining is not bad, so these days I have switched to them for dining spending.
Next year should be easier to get waiver. tongue.gif
