SCB is charging me annual fee RM250 on my JustOne card.. Called them and they said they can't waive the fee. But when I applied for the card, I was told first year free annual fee. How? What is the terms and conditions? I don't think I have a bad record. Just didn't use it often.

no such thing. they dont waive if there is no af being charged. they can waive after it has been charged.

Updates on new card application, for the Bose Speaker.
Just called them, after 1 week of submission, still not processed or processing, as they could not locate any information on my application.
Confirmed call for submission from SC last Monday.
Then they mentioned 7 working days for it to be processed.

Did you receive any SMS/email notify that your application has been approved?

Updates, received call from agent of SC that I sent the forms to, status approved, but haven't receive any SMS yet.
According to her, if the Bose Speaker is out of stock, meaning out of the 150, Compare Hero will replace with similar value gift, will send out within 90 days of card activation.
Dunno how true is that, but the value of that Bose is about RM 1k right, similar value gift will be good if its true.

Dodgy, only they know if it reaches 150. They could not even send out 10, we would never know.

Anyone have tactic to request annual fee waive. I have call in last 1-2 months the officer told me can waive when the latest statement issue. But just now I call in the lady told me no able to waive. Damn!!  

2x monthly Salaries.

Yup , agreed. Previouslly I got 7x credit limit approved when i applied Cashback Gold + JOP . I dont need that much as every month i only spent below 5k for both card to get their cash back. After a month i request via live chat to reduce my credit limit and its done on the next day.

My CL is like 29K (combined for both JOP and Visa), which I feel is a little too much.

If I ask to lower my CL, would it improve my chances of getting another card from another bank? Just wondering.

Managed to get it at 12.04.. discovered that GSC Server a bit slow for 3 seconds..I was trying to purchased at 12.00AM Sharp. but did not get it. but tried again at 12.04AM .. I got it.

Ok.. I tried at 12.02. also not available.. almost gave up.. but i tried again at 12.04.. i got it.....  my time also follow internet time..that is why i said their server is delayed.

how long after you activate your card, you get the email from compare hero? i applied under this and just got my card to be activated 😭

is it true that SCB not allowed to change the SMS transaction amount limit? Called the bank and the CS insist that not allow to change.

oo, the CS say only trx amount above RM250 and high risk merchant will receive sms notification. No choice then. The sms is useful sometime when the amount is charged to the card but the terminal fail to generate receipt
