QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 6 2024, 10:54 AM) And he has been spending more than 150k per annum. This is beyond my understanding. Member since 2011. Good credit standing all this while. I have 2 SCB cards, Visa Plat (first card when I joined SCB as employee, lifetime fee waiver even after exit SCB) as main use card for everything except petrol then applied their World Master some 4 years ago. Since then switched to Master to continue as main use card. I've collected few 100K of reward points for conversion to Enrich points (exchange for free air tickets). I didn’t spend anything on the card earlier yet they didn’t reduce my CL or they haven’t. .P Btw since day-1 all my spending were legitimate, none of them online gambling. Never do cash advance. I subsequently terminated the no use Visa card early this year to avoid RM25 tax. If SCB used the Visa card spending trending to revise my credit limit, then they've made a BIG mistake!!! QUOTE(ericlaiys @ Oct 6 2024, 09:27 AM) I have another World Master card (employee benefits) with 100K CL and one more Visa (member since 1997) with 60K CL that can stand in anytime for my daily use. As of now, these 2 cards always zero outstanding balance. I can't brain how SCB treats their loyal customers. I started banking with SCB since 2011 when I joined them as employee. Until today as I type, I am still an active customer with > RM10K worth of transactions monthly. Maybe I am a bad customer for them because never let them earn any cents from outstanding balance interest nor annual fee. This post has been edited by patricktoh: Oct 6 2024, 03:16 PM |

At the end SCB didn't cut my Journey card combined limit from 90K to 5K wef 30-Oct-2024 as stated in the email.
So I guess it was a false alert from the terminated old Visa card. |
