I just applied both Just One Plat and SCB Gold cash back in Jusco Seremban 2. Got a free foldable travel bag. Actually my intention was just to apply for the cash back card but the fellow told me there will be free RM 150 cash back once activate Just One. OK la, just apply first and not sure if it will be approved because my previous CCRIS record is not that good due to PTPTN.

QUOTE(dh13 @ Oct 31 2016, 11:54 PM) Actually you can get the RM150 New to Bank Customer without the need of getting JustOne Plat MC. I applied for both Just One and Cash Back Gold so entitled for 2xRM 150? https://www.sc.com/global/av/my-tc-creditca...ct-dec16-v1.pdf Since you are not going to use for AutoPay.. haha |

QUOTE(dh13 @ Nov 1 2016, 12:01 AM) OK la, see which one it is approved. I'm not so interested with Just One actually. In my opinion, if approved both will be approved or neither will be approved. |

QUOTE(ytan053 @ Nov 1 2016, 02:21 PM) Fruitie, why not consider the Just One for insurance billing? You have GE right, it the amount is >RM2,500 one time, this card would be great, as it is considered (in my list) the 2nd highest CB for insurance. My monthly only RM 250, one year RM 3k. I rather split into monthly payment than one shot of RM 3k. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Nov 1 2016, 03:17 PM) Nice comprehensive reply - I'm sure many will appreciate even though slightly off topic. Yes, me too. Just switched my insurance auto-debit to AEON card. Really lazy to juggle between so many cards. I use lazy method of everything charge to AEON CC, then pay using PBB VS + CIMB CR (using principals and supps, if they got spare quota) and as a last resort, SCB Gold Cashback. Even though my insurance premiums are really high, all my online cards can cover. This post has been edited by fruitie: Nov 1 2016, 03:23 PM |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Nov 12 2016, 10:28 PM) Just got my card this month so will see how it goes. Did a few uber rides last week. Great now uber has fixed fares! Great, I didn't know it has fixed fares now. One of the reasons I don't use Uber is because it has no fixed rate like Grab. Now hopefully I will be approved by SCB, I had their card 3 years ago. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Nov 12 2016, 11:42 PM) Introduced fixed fares last week I think. Good. I wanna utilize it for the free sign up cash back, I also want to use it for retails. I signed up to scb primarily for the RM300 acquisition offer that ended in Sept. But quite happy with it so far for online spend when I've exhausted my higher CB cards. |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Nov 17 2016, 12:09 AM) I received an SMS approval. Nobody has called me until today. Did anyone from CS contact you? For me, I had to send my documents via e-mail to a CS rep, who also called me. She also called me when I got approved, and tried to ask me to sign up for another card. Only the agent in mall called once because he forgot to fill in my phone no. He called my office no. to get me. QUOTE(sj0217 @ Nov 17 2016, 12:22 AM) If I recall correctly, the first message i received was 6 digits PIN number, I remembered some of members reported same things too OK, looks like mine "colder than water" case already...After that, only know the card application is approved |

SCB actually rejected my application that I did in mall. Nobody called me and straight rejected. Oh well, probably due to my earlier PTPTN record.
I didn't know and applied again over the weekend, they called and informed that I was rejected earlier so cannot apply again now. I have to wait till 3 months later. OK lo, luckily I have no urgency to get the Cash Back Gold card. |
