I got this card in early August and as of today (1st November) I have not received my cash back despite spending more than RM 2.5k in August, September and October. I tried calling their hotline but can't get through.

Just to confirm, the RM 2.5k spent is based on calendar month and not billing cycle, correct? My billing cycle is 4th of every month.

Check your rewards account.
Monthly CB won't go into your credit card account until you redeem it from rewards.

Oh I see... Kind of inconvenient to go claim from the rewards section, and has to be in multiples of RM 30. I got this card for the free AirPods Pro. In terms of Cashback, it's not really the best in town.

Anyway, thanks for the info smile.gif

At the end SCB didn't cut my Journey card combined limit from 90K to 5K wef 30-Oct-2024 as stated in the email.

So I guess it was a false alert from the terminated old Visa card.

I have a question For SC Simply Cash, if I has a refund for part of a transaction in Oct but the refund posted on Nov, the refund will offset the min spending for Oct or Nov?
I had spent the same amount as the refund amount in Oct to safeguard Oct cashback.

It will as the cashback normally generate later so they have time to do the counting for min spend
I got "rebate" from my AIA monthly auto charge which SCB treat it as "refund" during June

So my June rebate getting lesser.

It will charge Annual fee in the statement if your card has it, but you can request for waiver later, for SC card still big possibility to get full waiver unless your card has criteria to meet the annual fee waiver like annual spend amount or annual transaction counts, which I just cut after 1 year of using due to cannot met the waiver requirement.

Yea, just that i forgot whether years ago SCB got mentioned anything like waive for 3 years or so.

As last year there is non charges of Annual Fee into my old Journey (Worldmile) card.

I'm confused with when I shall spend with the SimplyCash card to max out the cashback.
I know I need to spend RM2500 a month. And my statement date is 10th. Do I need to meet the spending requirement from. 1st to 30th or 11th to 10th?

Is the 1% foreign transaction fee also applied on the incoming credit transfer? (refund)

I paid for hotel booking in MYR on Expedia. Foreign fee was added. After one day I cancelled the booking and was refunded by Expedia. However 1% of the money is missing. So totally I paid 1% +1% in fees on a cancelled booking.

Is this Expedia fault that it didn't revert the transaction? Why the system is so badly designed?

if not mistaken...

upon purchase: 1% forex + 1% cross border/dcc

upon refund: 1% forex. crossborder/dcc not apply/refunded.
