yeah, poor signal reception does really drain battery faster.
I did try on single sim (instead of two sim previously) Battery stand-by time get longer and SOT can hit 4.5hours (previous just max 4 hour) It maybe MIUI 7 drain more battery or poor on power management.. hopefully got a AOSP versoin release for RN2. all in all, i might think the 5.5inch 1080p 401PPI screen is a the battery eater.. (Everytimes the screen consume more than 65% of the battery) Unlike in my MI3, screen only consume not more than 55% of battery. |

Anyone tried flashing TWRP by using the updater? Didn't work for me, still ended up with MiRecovery, tried the Windroid toolkit too, Shall try flashing it through ADB to see if that works. |

Does anyone face problem when replaying slow motion video by using stock application?

got mine from lelong. champagne gold. and 9H punya tempered glass. unlucky me, my unit from dfaro pre installed tempered glasss shattered after i play game at toilet and due to its back slippery nature fell onto its side and crack the tempered glass, shit the body is also damaged a little bit because of its build quality and also this kind of casing makes it thicker alot.. but u get a shiny mirror like casing.. nice effect for ur gf lol |

Guys, I would say make sure that your processor is running at full speed to get more accurate results (of course, make sure it is not throttled). Root it and use a CPU tweaker app and locked the min clock speed to max then try Antutu again.
I feel that some different ROMs performance mode don't really work properly. |

My note 2 prime GPS damn powerful. Indoor can detect all satellites from US , Russia and China. Lock in less than 5 sec indoor. My friend's Samsung note 5 also cannot fight.

Hi all, in the sticky post, someone mentioned that users can download a Wakeup Touch Nexus app that uses the proximity sensor to wake up the phone... It works well on my Redmi Note 2, but I notice after a while, it stops functioning (also after restarting). I've locked the app, but no result. I've tried to run permissions/autostart on it, but I couldn't seem to get the options to turn on (it was greyed out). Any other way of permanently activating this???
I've also sorted out the annoying buggy notification system by installing "Floatify". Other than that, fantastic phone. |

Been using RN3g for a year plus and thinking of switching to either RN2 or m2 note coz the internal space for apps is too little for me, but read that the image quality is not that good compared to RN 3g or m2 note...

Since 7.0.12 was taken offline, I updated mine manually using twrp.
Just now I ran the Updater and it says no update available. Then I pressed the top right icon and select download update and it worked.  |

I updated 7.0.12 (downloaded from 1st page) and manually updated from 7.0.8 on Saturday night. I just rename the downloaded file to update.zip and reboot to recovery from Updater app. So far battery life and heat management much better compared to 7.0.8.
I on dual sim (data on from 8am-6pm). Usage includes 10-20 mins calls and usual Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook. By 6pm battery life still stands average around 50%. Mine is local Xiaomi set. I am using Rearth Ringke Fusion Hybrid Shield which is a great case. Btw, for those who are using the Wake Up L app how does the battery life? Does it consume lot? Thanks. I give up, has ben try to get custom recovery install to fix my sd card write permission but cannot get it done.
try recovery way and fast boot also does not allow me to do so. |

ok, I manage to update manually to 7.0.12.0 using updater- using update from downloaded_rom folder method...now the updater detect an update and donwloading...not going to stop it...hopefully can have better battery performance..
yesterday I only got 16 hours from the battery with only 3h 50m SOT.... |

Is it just me or its damn difficult to open the back cover. Don't understand the instructions. Won't pushing down on middle of back cover results in bends, etc Anyone got fast and simple method. Redimi 1 very simple cos there was gap in the cover. |

hi everyone. i just ordered my redmi note 2 from lazada. 16GB White. is there any things i need to know beforehand like bugs and whatnot? what i scared right now if its starting up in chinese because that will pose a huge problem for me.
i do hope we can get cyanogenmod though in the future.. |

got the redmi note 2 from DirectD, the 16gb AP set with external SD card.
freaking thing is full of chinese bloatware. keeps asking for permission to install. havent even install anything already so much crap, cant imagine when it has these junk. any idea how to get rid of these things? |

Ok just got the message from lazada saying it will be delivered today. Awesome. It comes earlier than expected. Was told 2 to 5 days delivery period, and getting it after a day woot woot.
And here comes the moment i hate the most, hvg to charge the phone for 8 hours while my hand is itchy to play |
