mediatek chipset always problems with GPS

Mine too has no issue but need to go out then it can register the satellites faster.

Try switch off data and wifi then test the gps again

Anyone can recommend good tempered class and case for redmi note 2 from seller here?

I have a redmi 2 in which the GPS is crap. took like 10-15 minutes to lock..

with note 2. less than 10 seconds. same speed as Iphone.

anyway just got a new battery from aliexpress.. macam got problem...

go back satu gadget. they will do it for me. mine same case. came with 6.xx version. cannot go to google play. send back took them 15 min
can charge but

1) charge very fast
2) drain very fast
3) also the battery a little ketat abet still can masuk la.

maybe I did not charge it 8 hours and start using...

Hi all, in the sticky post, someone mentioned that users can download a Wakeup Touch Nexus app that uses the proximity sensor to wake up the phone... It works well on my Redmi Note 2, but I notice after a while, it stops functioning (also after restarting). I've locked the app, but no result. I've tried to run permissions/autostart on it, but I couldn't seem to get the options to turn on (it was greyed out). Any other way of permanently activating this???

I've also sorted out the annoying buggy notification system by installing "Floatify".

Other than that, fantastic phone.

I encountered this error while checking for update even though I am already connected to wifi.. Have you guy experienced it too?

im currently on 7.0.11,but cannot install version 7.0.12 manually via updater, it says 'update.zip signature verification failed'. i download the link given in 1st page. 

how come mine cannot update manually  downloading new zip. hopefully no problem with this one  .

just flash to MIUI 7 Global Beta ROM 5.11.12 on last week (that time without wipe any data, only wipe cache)

if now i want flash back to stable rom, do i need wipe data? or just same as last time i flash to developer rom?

The Charger is 2A, same as my Mi3 / MiPad. Problem is the Cable isn't (not sure for RN2), mine only support max 0.5A Switch another cable only can get high current input..

Really? btw my MI3, RN3g both c/w 1A, only RN4g 2A.

Hi I noticed you have K3Note also. If between K3 Note/A7000+ and RN2, which one you recommend? I researched same chipset, price also same same ... so confused now 

hahaha never try MIUI yet    Is RN2 overheating issue more serious than K3N?

I end up install zenui launcher as can't use to miui launcher that don't comes with app drawer. Damn messy if multiple app is installed

Why my redmi note 2 update to 7.0.12 always restart?

Google play store always force closed. Any solution? Already upgraded to 7.0.12.0 stable.
