guys I'm having a problem with my redmi note 2 when using snapchat, it seems like it's only exclusive to this device bc i've never seen anyone complain about this on other devices

when i open up snapchat, the viewfinder looks alright as usual, but when i try to record a video, everything turns really dark and it sort of cuts some of the frame and zoom in a bit, I guess they're applying digital image stabilisation to it? If so, how do I turn this off, because in most circumstances, recording is mostly impossible.
