QUOTE(chin89 @ Dec 20 2015, 08:59 PM) Hi sifus, my car got alarm problem. All doors are closed including trunk and hood. But cannot lock it using alarm and will have beep sound 5 times and led light inside dashboard blip 3 times. Any solution? Do you have the manual with you? It will tell you which part of the car isn't closed based on the number of times the LED is blinking. I don't have mine with me right now.

QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Dec 20 2015, 04:33 PM) Stock suspension. No big difference la. By calculation, 195/55 only causes the car to be lower by about 10mm compared to 195/60. Tyre looks slightly smaller if you stare at it long enough lol. That's Bridgestone's equivalent of PS3 or higher? My tyre is quite new. 4x15, forgot it's 43 or 47. I feel it's more quiet now. Not sure placebo or not but probably real because new tyres at the front. almost equivalent. some say re003 grip is better than ps3. but re003 is noisy than ps3. PS 3 treadwear 3xx re003 cheaper ( 15 inch ) re003 grip better dry and wet ( persona experience ) ps3 quite , when left 40 % wear will become noisy.

Going to get my 2nd Persona Tomorrow. Just asking, if changing the stock cd player to a 2 Din DVD with reverse cam will void the warranty?

just bought this for my ride's front brake. was recommended by the sparepart man. is it good ? using proton mintye for rear brake pad, quite ok and very less dust compare to original bosch (super dust emitter) come when the car is new. but when cold and rainy, sometime the rear brake will emit "wo wo" noise on 1st initial brake when reversing out from home. after a few braking noise is gone...

Gonna get my rear drum system swapped out for a disc system tomorrow if everything goes as planned. My rear right brake recently failed out of the blue when I was driving. The brake pedal suddenly went deeper which was accompanied by a "kok" sound from the rear right brake. Tired of the drum brakes which have been giving me issues since the day I started using the car. My handbrake doesn't work correctly now, but luckily I still have my parking brake.

Update the cost of swapping the rear drum to disc. I think my rear brake also failing soon. Too many trips to Cyberjaya via MEX and i often speed till 190kmph to 200kmph lol.

Don't need to remove the arms, so I think I won't need to re-do the alignment for the rear. A little bit on the high side, but most of the parts are new except for the brake calipers which are serviced units, but if they work fine, it's fine by me.

Last I ask from the garage near my place say it cost me around RM1600+ which I think it's ridiculously overpriced...

If it was RM1600 I'd rather buy parts myself, which means everything will be completely new. Probably will still have cash to buy suitable tools like a breaker bar etc as well to DIY. . Then bring it to a workshop to get them to install the handbrake cable.

Stock Bosch brake pads very dusty and also gives screeching sounds. I have changed all front and rear pads to trestor, no more annoying braking sounds! So far so good. Using for a month already.
