Is it? How come like that 1? shocking.gif

this problem normally due to brake pad doesnt fully attach to the rotor. Half of the brake pad surface dint "touch" the rotor, so the rust part still there.
You can try remove the brake pad. Use sand paper "gosok" sikit. If the rotor surface not good also need to skim

Recently I just changed my front anti roll bar bush at shop.
Cornering now is good , lotus handling is back. before changed the bush, during cornering you can slightly feel that the car have a bit shake, feel also not sharp.

After that , I self changing the rear anti roll bar bush and front absorber link.
Now the cornering power better, back to top performance when getting the car, even using lousy tyre haha

Hi, I have a PE H-line. I changed the front absorber links yesterday and now it is making some weird noise. whenever I turn right on uneven road at low speed, i can hear a 'klok' sound from the right side front wheel. then i turn the steering back to neutral, another 'klok' sound. it wasn't making any noise before i change the links. anyone knows what is the cause? could it be improper installation of the links?
*
Im also PE H Line, I also just change the absorber link.
I dont have the problems. (i Changed it myself )

What was the reason for the change? Worn out? Noise?
*
Change absorber link doesnt open much things.

Only tire and the links.

But sound source can be any parts.

Mine also got some sound when on uneven road. Sometimes have it, sometimes dont. Until now still cant source thes sound from where rclxub.gif

before i change the absorber links, got a lot of knocking noises from the front whenever i go through bumps and potholes. after change, not completely noiseless but generally it is quieter, but then new noise appeared!
*
Ya cuz not changing ery part.
All the suspension system is wear and tear. Need to change when lifespan end.
Else, poor handling and noise.

PE's handling is sooooo good that I can't resist to take on corners. but then all these noises are just endless~
*
have you change you front anti roll bar bush?
if the bush faulty the anti roll bar will moving , will have noise on uneven road. and during cornering the handling is poor

i asked the foreman to check the anti roll bar bushes before i changed the absorber links. he shaked the anti roll bar and it didn't even moved a bit, so he said the bushes are still good.
*
Hand shake hard to move the anti roll bar.
Mine use hand also cant shake it. Only when the bush uninstall. Then I can see the diff.

what is the function of anti roll bar? give Persona more stable and improve cornering a lot or just slightly better compare to stock Persona SV? thanks  icon_question.gif  hmm.gif  brows.gif
*
Stock sv also got anti roll bar, front or rear also have it.

My car front is original anti roll bar. Even though is ori but still have it function there.

Rear I've changed to 16mm Ultra racing anti roll bar. Cornering better than original .

Both of the original anti roll bar quite "soft" if u put some strength on it, it can bend a bit. But UR totally no strength to bend it. Damn stiff.

1. Better brake pads
2. Better tyres

Then move on to whatever you want.
I mean not much difference from the original rear anti roll bar. For my car the larger anti roll bar also seems to have introduced some metal flex/creak noise which occurs from time to time when turning.
*
Changing larger pr stiffer anti roll bar, will help on cornering performance.
But in the other hand, because of the anti roll bar stiffer now, may lead to some annoying sound. Mine when hit some hole, not so big with slow speed, will have loud kok sound . But check , it was working fine.

how much is it to change the front anti roll bar bushes including labor cost? my front ARB is still stock and rear i change to UR ARB 16mm too!

for me, i feel that the thicker rear ARB makes the front end slightly easier to turn during corner, reduced understeer?
*
I changed mine rm 90 include installation , local bush.
