Recently in trying very hard to rectify this problem. I have googled about this problem, comments from various forums seem to conclude that this brake screeching is quite a normal thing for persona. Some does not get this prob.

Proposed solution is to try changing to better brake pads, adding some grease at the back of the brake pad.  I will give feedbacks here after trying.
*
Same thing happened to my car front brake that also have screeching sound, especially after raining day. However it doesn't affect overall braking performance of the car. See when change brake pad next time change a better one.

i also have this problem, with all my four doors leaking !! re-doing door wheather sheild also same. lastly i just poke holes on door rubber liner, to allow water flowing out during raining and ultimately solved my problem !!

can you snap photo of where you poke the holes?
mine also leaking recently. weather sheet all 4 doors were sticked tight 2 years ago, don't tell me every 1-2 years need to open door panel to stick again, not a permanent solution. i suspect the water flow is towards inside the door rubber, not a good design...
*
Attached Image o
u have to pokes few hole in order for water to go inside the rubber. in my case i made three hole for rear door and four for front door.

to be continued...

then also made few hole under the rubber in order for water to flowing out.

what a shame for proton have desinged in that way where water are trapped in the rubber later go into cabin.

after this exercise, u will notice amount of water near outside of rubber liner after rain. this proof that all the while the water are free flow into the cabin instead of flow outside.

How old is your car? Foreman taught you the technique?
*
three years old car. i bought it second hand.
i just think of my own. i noticed every time if my carpet get wet, there are some water trapped in the rubber linen and i'm thinking just made a 'drain' to flowing out the water and the idea of cutting the hole in rubber linen has come out in my mind.
so far so good, no water in the carpet after so many days of heavy rain.

lol, i really not familiar with tyres (spec nor pricing).. all the while just use goodyear, silverstone and sime tyres (just changing depend what stock they have.. been paid for RM 260 per pc)
just said silverstone felt same as goodyear nct5... sime tyres really a NO for.. too noisy and doesnt have much grip.

except toyo neo 3, what else tyres u guys could recommend?? something not more than RM200?
looking around at those old price list post.. many are from WH tyres at Kota Kemuning.. really that cheap? found out is about a 15min ride from my HQ.
*
i just changed my front tyre with Toyo nanoenergy at hin leong klang, cost rm160 + gst per pcs.

Maybe fuse burnt. Try check the fuse box, located under steering and look for dash board fuse and check the fuse condition.

hmmmm.... how to know its fuse burnt bro? how much the repair cost ?
*
Do u encounter any other lighting not functioning ? Like reverse light, number plate lighting ? If yes, then it is easy for u to look for the correct fuse. Normally dashboard lighting fuse are joint with other lighting.
Unplug the fuse and look inside the metal thing, if broken mean this fuse already burnt.
Go to any sparepart shop. It only cost tiny cents per pcs.
If u cant find it, better ask foreman to chk for u.

one question regarding automatic transmission fluid, how long you guys change or service your ATF? and what ATF yu guys using? the original EON SP-III? anyone here used TOYOTA ATF TYPE-IV before??
*
I also planned my atf change next week. The sparepart shop recommend proton spIII and mitsubishi diaqueen sp iii. Do not use toyota type iv coz is different to our persona gearbox.
