QUOTE(DBKL @ Dec 1 2015, 02:20 PM) my car was langgar from behind..and my car hit the car infront, but lucky the car infront no damage, only my front part kemek all hud lampu pecah already.. (happen during traffic jam at mrr2 ) made report police already.. the person langgar also made police report, same balai police, she admit she langgar us, police said will saman her but wait for 14 days for full report.. but the police said hard to claim the front part becasue i dont remember the car infront plat number... ( is it true?) i call my insurance, the lady said sent my car to proton CoSE because the car still under warranty.. yesterday I send my car to Proton, the technical guy said it will take about a month at least to repair, can I claim compensation from the person langgar me? send back to cose using back original parts, expect longer waiting period and not able to claim for front... if got lobang those magat workshop can gaodim all for u, they use 2nd hand part for u (front and back), and mark-up abit claiming from 3rd party insurance. some more can finish in a week. but workmanship don't expect too much, only thing is u no need to spend a single cent.

QUOTE(benson92 @ Dec 7 2015, 11:44 AM) guys, recently my car will suddenly slow down when in low gear(engine feels like thrown forward), is it the time to clean throttle body? no harm cleaning, takes 5 - 10 mins job do yourself with a person playing the throttle and on-off ignition... QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Dec 7 2015, 01:05 PM) aircond compressor? it doesn't feel like it though but possible. when the compressor kicks in, the power dip is more obvious than what i encountered. i wonder if it's the "toto" body that is dirty and causing this. 85k km and haven't cleaned it once . planning to do it at 100k. "toto" body, got toto lottery number craved inside kah? lol

QUOTE(LazyKurosaki @ Dec 7 2015, 10:49 PM) Persona lo. Steering much lighter. Power better. But I like waja interior more than persona. Persona interior abit plain.. Power wise: persona > waja FC wise: persona RM 30 @ 1.95/L can go 288km according to trip computer. Waja RM 30 @ 1.95/L can go 130-140km. Persona > waja Exterior design: no doubt persona > waja Interior design: waja > persona for me Handling: persona > waja wah, waja mitsubishi engine so kuat minyak? i thought mitsubishi engine fuel saving coz low rpm torque better...

QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ Dec 8 2015, 08:16 AM) Supposed to be quite good. Based on what I found through searching, no one complains about noise, just brake dust. The other two pads I suggested are around the same price as the Ultimate. but makan disc rotor or not? last time heard the higher range of bendix (not sure if it's ultimate) will makan disc rotor faster.

QUOTE(hyloy @ Dec 17 2015, 07:09 AM) i also have this problem, with all my four doors leaking !! re-doing door wheather sheild also same. lastly i just poke holes on door rubber liner, to allow water flowing out during raining and ultimately solved my problem !! can you snap photo of where you poke the holes? mine also leaking recently. weather sheet all 4 doors were sticked tight 2 years ago, don't tell me every 1-2 years need to open door panel to stick again, not a permanent solution. i suspect the water flow is towards inside the door rubber, not a good design...

QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ Dec 17 2015, 07:17 PM) I can tell you that if no water actually makes it pass the weather sheet/door, the inner* part of the rubber you cut into would be completely dry. true, but how frequent we have to reseal the weather sheet during the ownership? for me after 1-2 years this happening again. lazy to open door panel again.

QUOTE(hyloy @ Dec 21 2015, 08:26 PM) [attachmentid=5592966] just bought this for my ride's front brake. was recommended by the sparepart man. is it good ? using proton mintye for rear brake pad, quite ok and very less dust compare to original bosch (super dust emitter) come when the car is new. but when cold and rainy, sometime the rear brake will emit "wo wo" noise on 1st initial brake when reversing out from home. after a few braking noise is gone...

QUOTE(Irishcoffee @ Dec 30 2015, 01:04 AM) Hi guys, i been introduced this bmw super power engine oil @ kota damansara http://moto-oil.co.uk/bmw-5w-40-super-power-oil-longlife-98i wonder how this engine oil perform? as the sales person told me this engine oil able to last for 15k km, and its make your engine sounds more quiet. how much is the oil? even if the bmw oil can lasts for 15k km, can proton oil filter lasts that long? or you plan to just change the oil filter every 5k km and top-up for minor oil lost during the oil filter change process? last time my audi oil filter specifically written can lasts for 30k km.

QUOTE(Irishcoffee @ Dec 30 2015, 10:17 AM) rm50 per liter not sure about the filter able to last that long, what interest me is it not very expensive, normal semi syn oil arnd rm110, so if this oil able to last longer, i think it still worth the price fuiyoo, rm200 for 4 litre. i bought the aeon topvalue fully syn oil for rm99, somemore it got the genuine api sn certified logo.

QUOTE(temptation1314 @ Dec 31 2015, 04:13 PM) Went to nestum shop change my front tyres to C-Drive 2 yesterday. Bought Brembo Disc Brake and also Brake Pad and bring along and ask them to help me change also. End up when I see my existing disc, it was the old disc(stock that comes since I got my car first day, 3 years ago. (according to the condition la) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « [attachmentid=5668279] Left is new from Brembo, right is the old one. Now this is proven that the shop I went in TTDI just cheated me over RM200 over a "New Disc Brake" what's wrong with the old 1? i see the thickness almost similar with the new? isn't still usable? if got noise perhaps can do disc skimming?

QUOTE(ahnee92 @ Jan 7 2016, 09:11 PM) recently changed my both front and rear default disc brake(bosch) to bendix, very satisfy, no more dusty problem and the annoying sound when stepping on the brake you will notice zero to none brake dust. me from once cleaning rim every 1-2 week when on stock proton bosch, to now maybe once every 1-2 month... but too bad the rim no longer shinny anymore as the brake dust already baked last time. hi all, any recommended aircond shop near pj/subang/puchong area? my aircond not cold enough on afternoon. air coming out is cool but not cold so will feel hot inside. on morning or evening it was good and cold. this has been around for a year edi, maybe just minor gas or compressor oil reduction (not heavy leaking)? normal for a 4 years car to have minor reduction right?
