Recommended SC

1)Serdang SC - http://worldcarcare.com.my/WorldCarCare.html
Reasons: Best customer service in all reviews.

2) CoSE (beside Kesas) - Head towards Klang on Kesas and you will pass by the biggest Proton billboard you'll ever see. Thats the place.
Proton Center of Excellence (CoSE),
Jalan TP 5, Taman Perindustrian Sime Uep, 47600 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia
Tel: 03-80269333
Tel2: 03-80269167
Fax: 03-80269155
HQ, easy to claim warranty and reflash ECU. Have to make appointment b4 going there. Can bring own Lube

3) Juru SC (Penang) - Can bring own lube.

4) Trend point - Along Jalan Tun Razak. (Still under review, first review was bad, but a warranty claim experience after that shows that they're quite efficient and able to detect problems that even CoSE denies.)

Unrecommended SC (TRY TO AVOID AT ALL COST!)

1) Sin Siang Hin sdn. bhd. all Klang Valley branches - bad service and they whack ur car like they pay for petrol
2) Senaxis Sdn Bhd No. 50, Jalan SS26/ 11, Taman Mayang Jaya, Petaling Jaya, 47301 SELANGOR Tel: 012-3283123 Fax: 03-78048753

Anyone here has experienced brake screeching sound and had solved it by changing to good brake pads? Please give some comments thank you. I really hate that brake screeching sound.

Recently in trying very hard to rectify this problem. I have googled about this problem, comments from various forums seem to conclude that this brake screeching is quite a normal thing for persona. Some does not get this prob.

Proposed solution is to try changing to better brake pads, adding some grease at the back of the brake pad. I will give feedbacks here after trying.

Same thing happened to my car front brake that also have screeching sound, especially after raining day. However it doesn't affect overall braking performance of the car. See when change brake pad next time change a better one.

Are you still using stock Bosch brake pads? Yea they were noisy and dusty.

Just to update here, went to change both rear and front brake pads to a more reputable brand introduced by my friend. Problem solved, no more screeching at all, none. Hopefully it will last. Touch wood.

Nope. Trestor metallic plus, sharing the same factory with Bendix. Intoduced by my dad's fren. Used for half a day drive, not a single high pitch screeching sound!

Guys,

I'm just reaching 22k plus for my service...
The service advisor said will be a major service.
Cost about 500-700, cant really remember the exact amount.

Any service center recommend in Klang? I tried COSE, called million times and no one picked up, given up

lol proton what you expect, at least the RV is better than Peugeot haha. If you wanna use this car for 10 years, don't need to care about RV lor.

I'm not sure about the performance, to me its like the same. Cuz I don't do hard braking, not really sure bout that. again, most importantly it doesn't screech. yeah.
