seems recently hsbc not that generous

I think more due to very hard to contact them like previous years. Last year whenever you call, HSBC sure can reach n give you answer immediately. Now..... all depend on your luck. Possible cut cost to 3rd party call centre... hahaha...

lousy card, myr5 dispute (unauthorised transaction) till now 2 months + still not yet refund to me.

better cancel the card.

I never get to call them. Put a message via live chat wait them get back to me. Also take ages

Their live chat is the worst. Best bet is still to call them

Call? make sure you have patience to wait for 1 hour

I waited more than an hour to requested for the SST rebate.

You also live chat? Mine due next month, don't want to keep it if pay rm25. I sign only for the sign up gift.

Rarely use after that. Cause didn't manage to tally why I didn't get bonus points spending at those listed shopping malls.

Was your main purpose call in to cancel or call in to get the rm25?

Hi~ Applied a HSBC platinum cc at the Mid Valley booth. I read somewhere that you will receive a SMS notification to track your application progress. I didn't receive that. Is it not the same for others too? Did you all get the SMS? Thanks.

And told her ask retention call me asap
Then she said submit request for sst rebate
Ask me come back after 3 days
So far ebanking still show nothing yet

Since I already got AF waived (didn’t spend once every month for 12 consecutive months) and SST rebate, I’m keeping this card for promotions. Well, to be fair it has given me a lot of free TnG credit during the TnG campaigns.

Recently no promo right? I’m holding the VS.

Cuz i saw the gift quite limited to 750 units capped for both voucher and cash back plus the campaign is from jan 22 till dec 22

Any here uses either a Premier Travel Mastercard or Amanah Premier World Mastercard ? Any pros and cons? I've read the comparison on the site but doesn't seem to tell me any significant diff so thinking of asking someone who actually uses them.

I currently have the Plat and VS.

Using PT mc, good Enrich miles conversion for oversea spending, RM0.91 = 1 enrich miles and lounge entry. Thats all

Just called to cancel my HSBC Amanah Cash Bank Card & HSBC Visa Signature. Phone pickup very fast. The officer keep asking what's reason. I just told them lots of fraud cases in HSC cards and don't feel secure to hold. The officer keep saying that this not happened to HSBC but to other banks too bla bla bla. Therefore proceed to card cancellation over the phone. Very smooth process for less than 10 minutes.
