Your application is fast. I applied at 30th Dec via HSBC website, and received call for details confirmation at 10th Jan, then no more news until now. Application status is still In-Progress.

Waiver as in Annual Fee or SST? Just to confirm, the Annual Fee is waived with 12 swipes right? Or did I misread something? LOL
*
sorry i mean the annual fee waiver.
although they say it's 12 swipes in a year but i see early post said it's not done automatically.. still need to call?
my other HSBC card is auto. i don't even have to call

Hi guys..

Any here uses either a Premier Travel Mastercard or Amanah Premier World Mastercard ? Any pros and cons? I've read the comparison on the site but doesn't seem to tell me any significant diff so thinking of asking someone who actually uses them.

I currently have the Plat and VS.

Using PT mc, good Enrich miles conversion for oversea spending, RM0.91 = 1 enrich miles and lounge entry. Thats all  laugh.gif
*
hmm.. sounds like not much benefits also la then sweat.gif
my Aeon plat also give me 6x access to PPL and signature also but limited location la. PT has more location but then again on 2nd thought, it's not like I always travel also ahahaha.
signature also got 6x but only KL, SG, HK while PTMC 12x at around 18 locations.

Just called to cancel my HSBC Amanah Cash Bank Card & HSBC Visa Signature. Phone pickup very fast. The officer keep asking what's reason. I just told them lots of fraud cases in HSC cards and don't feel secure to hold. The officer keep saying that this not happened to HSBC but to other banks too bla bla bla. Therefore proceed to card cancellation over the phone. Very smooth process for less than 10 minutes.
*
that's really quick.. looks like they've gone back full force.

If not always travel, PT card or VS card are good enuf, just limited location. For me that travel always, I have PP (unlimited worldwide lounge access, complimentary from Amex Platinum) & LK (12 times worldwide lounge access from Citi Prestige). PT is a back up incase i need to bring guest along.
*
thanks bro.. agak2 know what to do dy. Aeon plat bring guest only got 20% off. hsbc got 25%. i might swap out my VS for a PWM instead. biggrin.gif

Anyone using TravelOne with a supp card? Just wondering if the total annual spending of RM20,000 for annual fee waiver needs to be maintained separately or can be accumulated across both main and supp card.

Even if you don't meet the spending rqt, I don't think it will be a problem waiving the annual fee? I had no problem requesting for my HSBC VS.
*
True also.. just wanted to make sure before i convert to TOne and get a supp card for my family member. My HSBC VS gets waived automatically every year.

21k annual spend + 1 time monthly to get AF waive
Some more my aim is to get vs (which keep rejecting me)
So cancel it to reduce liabilities
*
Hmm.. for me i think the VS is easy to get. Not sure why rhey reject you. Btw, do you by any chance know if the 21k spend can be contribute by both principal and sub cars holder?

QUOTE(schoe @ Apr 24 2024, 08:55 PM)
i am the visa signature holder when they called me to lure me to get this card by saying free annual fees for first year, and 5 or 6 times lounge access, could sub the card to other to access the lounge, while i can still continue use visa signature card to access the lounge.

both can access the lounge all the same time.

plus RM150 welcome cashback if i perform certain transactions.

then i say yes, but till now the sup card still not done, only i receive the card.. i duno why.
*
Last time i ask if sub card can enter PPL, they say no.. and the TnC also say so 😒
