Hi guys, does anyone know how long it takes to convert the air miles point to Enrich?

I called in last Thursday requested to convert all airmiles to Enrich, point deducted from account last Friday but still not reflect in my Enrich account

Thank you

Hi guys..

Any here uses either a Premier Travel Mastercard or Amanah Premier World Mastercard ?  Any pros and cons?  I've read the comparison on the site but doesn't seem to tell me any significant diff so thinking of asking someone who actually uses them.

I currently have the Plat and VS.

Using PT mc, good Enrich miles conversion for oversea spending, RM0.91 = 1 enrich miles and lounge entry. Thats all laugh.gif

hmm.. sounds like not much benefits also la then sweat.gif
my Aeon plat also give me 6x access to PPL and signature also but limited location la. PT has more location but then again on 2nd thought, it's not like I always travel also ahahaha.
signature also got 6x but only KL, SG, HK while PTMC 12x at around 18 locations.
that's really quick.. looks like they've gone back full force.
i think previously still got a lot of them WFH. hence response is slower.. tongue.gif

If not always travel, PT card or VS card are good enuf, just limited location. For me that travel always, I have PP (unlimited worldwide lounge access, complimentary from Amex Platinum) & LK (12 times worldwide lounge access from Citi Prestige). PT is a back up incase i need to bring guest along.

Has anyone done a comparison between HSBC Premier World Mastercard vs Premier Travel Mastercard? I have a HSBC Premier World Mastercard which will collect reward points. I wonder whether Premier Travel Mastercard is better for its Air Miles conversion now that we might travel more.

the main difference should be number of lounge access and airmiles conversion to enrich from your overseas spending (RM0.91 to 1 enrich miles)

yes. i know these branding and i hav them.
but i don't see any real life benefits solely depending on the branding VI VS or world MC alone.
seeing at now some bank is offering VI at 60k annual salary whistling.gif

so i think we should focus on card features instead, eg. how many cb % or airmiles it bring, or airport lounge visit, rather than the branding VI VS or world MC.
if a visa classic can easily offer RM100 cb per month, why not get it  nod.gif .

Diff tier cards comes with diff benefits, and services as well.

For example, VS vs Premier Travel, when most VS cardholder complaints about long waiting time to talk to cs, to talk to premier travel card cs will never takes you more than 1 min (personal experience)

Most premier card comes with travel perks like best airmiles conversion to redeem flight ticket. The value i get from flight ticket redemption, is far better than cash back.

Based on initial impressions, seems like the Premier Travel card (PTC) is still significantly better for miles conversion. Reward limits on foreign/local spend are the same I think? 20k foreign, 10k local.

But PTC gives a 1:1 conversion to Enrich, as opposed to 21:1 for TravelOne...

The lounge access is kind of not important at all, since Plaza Premium lounges are mostly garbage and at not many locations worldwide - if you want lounge access, you're better off getting some other card. I definitely haven't used my HSBC MY CC for any lounge access for years since they moved away from LoungeKey.
*
Reward limit for PT on local spend is 30k airmiles per month, 20k for foreign spend

1 airmiles = RM0.91 (foreign) & RM4 (local)

If travel one require 21k points to get 1k enrich, 1 enrich = RM2.63 (foreign) & RM4.20 (local)

Can't decide whether to apply for T1 or Signature. Won't be my main card tho, purely apply as extra for PPL access and i heard HSBC is generous in giving CL?

So my concern now is which one easier to get annual fee waiver.
*
T1 has min spending requirement, VS only require 12x swipe per year to get waiver

Looks interesting... but the Plaza Premium thing is a bit of a turn off considering it's a World Elite card (even if it's 12x). My other World Elite card is unlimited complimentary entry to LoungeKey with a guest. In the airline points department it looks marginally better than HSBC PT because of more partners, but then again I don't need points for the partners...

Maybe I should look for a Malaysia Airlines related CC? I've been using my HSBC PT mainly to get free flights for the past few years with Malaysia Airlines so that's my main objective in replacing my card  biggrin.gif

For oversea spending/foreign currency spending, you can consider UOB Prvi Miles Elite

Zenith RM1 = 2x UNIRM
PRVI Miles RM1 = 10x UNIRM

9,000 UNIRM = 1,000 Enrich Miles

Approx 8,000 Enrich Miles to 1 Economy Flight return BKK, therefore RM 9,000 (PRVI) to RM 36,000 (Zenith) equivalent overseas spend. There is however mention about a Visa Infinite Metal where 4,500 UNIRM = 1,000 miles which means points earned on that card are valued twice above PRVI miles. Any ideas on that card? Honestly, the vast majority 95% of my spend is overseas spend as I'm not based in KL, so the overseas spend points generation is probably the most important part of the card next to the value of the points.

At the 9,000 UNIRM to 1,000 Enrich Miles, I think the value is roughly the same as HSBC (if not slightly less). So it's only points generation that is a question since HSBC PT is now only 1.1x points per USD1 overseas spend...
*
Zenith has better miles conversion rate, so if you have both Zenith and Prvi Miles Elite. You can spend with PME and redeem with Zenith conversion rate but i was told that Zenith AF cant be waive anymore.

HSBC PT has bonus point cap

Enrich Saver is not available anymore, the ticket redemption rate is sucks, so I've switch to KF now.

Never used travel notice before and haven't had any issue using my card overseas before... How many times has your card been blocked after setting travel notice?

EDIT: Noticed CIMB TWE card also seems to have good points generation rate at RM 10,000 spend = 1,000 Enrich Miles. Any thoughts on this card?

Good for oversea spending to collect enrich

this year hsbc so strict, no sst cashback, AF waiver given even threaten to cancel the card. Cancelled all the card, hoping can get better NTB reward next time  biggrin.gif

So far I have no issue with AF waiver & sst cashback. For sst cashback, I just called to request for loyalty rebate and with 3 transactions, they will credit the rm25 into account. This applied to my supplementary card too.

for those using applepay or googlepay for hsbc cc. You will only get 1x point. even you are suppose to get 8x - oversea, 5x online spend or 5x shopping.
Please take note. In another word, applepay/ googlepay is useless as only get 1x.
i just had an arguement with cs . Even i spend on retail shopping, suppose to get 5x but due to i make a mistake by paying using applepay.

Is this stated in T&C?

I use Premier Travel, checked T&C and points rewarded, no difference paying with applepay

Unfortunately I am very aware of how the details leaked since I've been in this industry for 20 years+ 😂

My interest isn't in how the cards got leaked, but how they both got leaked/used at roughly the same time... both cards are used in mostly unique places and both card details are typically only used via "larger" merchants like Grab, Lazada, etc. to limit exposure.

It could be coincidence, but I still find it interesting.

The other thing that was extra interesting was that on the primary card, the charges looked like they were at faked/spoofed merchants... example:

1) LAZADAMY - but charged from St. Louis
2) Digital Ocean - but charged from St. Louis
3) Netflix - but charged from St. Louis
4) Google - but charged from St. Louis

And so on... I think there were around 10 transactions of varying names, but all were 100% fake since the "real name" of the merchants (when they charge legitimately) are:

Google YouTubePremium Mountain View CA
DIGITALOCEAN.COM AMSTERDAM NH
NETFLIX PTE. LTD. Singapore SGP

So the fact that they knew (or had very lucky guesses) about what merchants I use, is interesting... because nobody else should have access to my list of merchants/transactions in order to fake the charges.
*
You're not alone — the same thing happened to me.
I had one fraudulent transaction charged to my supplementary card on 5/8, and then 16 fraudulent transactions attempted on my primary card on 8/8.

The charge on my supplementary card went through successfully, but all the transactions on my primary card were for USD $0.
