if you are worried, just walk into any hsbc bank, cut the card together with your cancellation letter, and ask them to acknowledge receipt.

1 thing i dont like about hsbc is their online credit card transaction, I am not able to see my transactions unlike other banks and sometimes i wonder am i paying the right amount or did they charge me any extra.

mine doesnt show up at all, i only get to see the account outstanding etc, but transactions are all blank, i am asked to download the statement but again not able to read as it is in some format that is not supported.

so i am actually paying blindly

HSBC tend to be more secured in a way, when you use their ATM to bank in, you need to verify your IC.

I am using HSBC Signature card, was surprised to find a promoter @ HSBC Booth in shopping mall asking me to apply for clear card, visa as well and can get gift. according to him, HSBC can issue me 2 Visa cards, one signature and one clear card, I just use clear card for cash back. the signature card dont need to use, or can cancel.

dont know. all i know is a cash back card.... the best thing is he ask me to downgrade my card

haha. now it is the other way round. first time hear promoter ask people to downgrade rather than upgrade.

shit to this promoters who are only interested in making money but not promoting the right stuff to consumers. HSBC should educate their people to stay focus, else they will become lousy bankers soon.

Strange when you said they offered you with Visa Signature with increased credit limit. You dont even have their card, how they offer you? salesman talk when they wanted you to sign up?

lousy card, I saw 25 ringgit charged to my card statement, called CS to cancel my card, CS told me the 25 ringgit need to be paid in order to cancel the card.
the card had not been used since Aug 2021, I do not need the card, thus want to cancel it, anyone faced this before?

I have a HSBC credit card
received unauthorised transaction sms
immediately called customer service
waited 30 minutes, no answer
called again, waited another 30 minutes, no answer too

called second day, already waited almost 30 minutes again no answer, only listening to stupid recorded message

now I dont know what to do, on one hand my card had unauthorised transaction, means fraud transaction, afraid they will try and continue till credit limit burst, but at the other hand, the bank is not able to help me.

if the service is so poor, better close the credit card department, no need to find any new customers.
