Does anybody know the ringgit value of this 20" luggage from Ringgit Plus?

Let's say if put RM 30k in SCB and OCBC respectively:
SCB 4.5% for 15 months vs. OCBC 4.2% for 12 months:

SCB: RM 1350 interest
OCBC: RM 1260 interest

Difference: additional RM 90 for SCB, it is 15 months tenure with every 6 month interest

Mr. Lau, I have never seen one leng lui from Am Bank. 
If you want to see leng lui, OCBC is No. 1  

But OCBC has RM 888 Ang Pow also.. 

The bank will transfer your money to Bank Negara, and you will have to claim them at the Bank Negara, have fun with all the red tapes

I don't think your chq will clear by 27 Feb (28 Feb being a non-banking day) as it takes, per EPF "ruling", 7 working days to credit your a/c. You'll be credited on 5 Mar, I think.

Just to clarify the EPF self contribution thingy:-

1. Maybank2u sets a RM5K limit per transaction, not daily limit as I initially thought, and as rightly pointed out by diablo2, we can transact 12 times for each RM5K, on the very same day, to achieve the RM60K limit:-
2. MBB cheques of more then RM5K can now be made to EPF - I've done this last year.
3. EPF has set a RM5K daily limit for cash deposited OTC. However the m2u RM5K x 12 times can easily override this!
4. For both cash & m2u deposits, the EPF "clearance" date is the next working/banking day. However a cheque payment to EPF will take 7 working days to "clear".
5. It has been established that the dividend for any deposit made during the month starts on the very last day of that month, provided the next/7 working days "clearance" is within that month.
So after the maximum RM60K EPF self-contribution, it's now onto SSPN (or PTPTN) max dep of RM6K, mainly for the tax relief but the 4+% interest does help too...

I just placed another FD with OCBC KL Main under the Ringgitplus promo, but the leng chai leng lui there seems to have no clue about this and make me kinda blur too

Is it confirm that you will get the luggage? Do OCBC give anything or any instruction to entitle for the luggague?

Not surprising about this. When I was in Penang OCBC PB centre last week, they are not even aware of their own Ang Pow Contest. Have to tell the leng lui to check their website. The Ringgitplus promo is outside of OCBC some more.
