Agree..  sweat.gif
Post #2 stating SCB 4.5% for 15 months FD is Islamic/Saadiq, it is still available until the end of this month.

About the "Enjoy 4.5% p.a. on 15-month Fixed Deposit" listed on SCB website, it is conventional FD which ended last month.

When you scroll down to the almost bottom of SCB website, you will find "Saadiq Term Deposit-i Campaign is extended until 30 April 2015", this is the 4.5% Islamic FD.

Thanks for ur clarification. As I called up n was informed the campaign is over.. The staff nvr mention can place for islamic. Any difference btw the conventional and islamic? If I only have just one account, can place for this Term Deposit-i?

Go to SCB branch n cs advised that not to open the Islamic FD. Reason is no FD cert given n need to sign up islamic account.. N said once u sign up the account U will receive sms n asking U to answer question n if answer wrongly, they will send the product to Ur hse.. Very weird response given by SCB

SCB said they bought plastic resin for me at RM30,000 per tonne and asked me to call 0377189999 before 2.30pm today for delivery.  I am not going to call them, What joke is this?? We put FD and they want to deliver plastic resin??
