QUOTE(Dagger69 @ Oct 16 2015, 11:03 AM) 3.3k? No, slightly lesser than that. Even though I believe I deserve more since I have a couple of years in the industry. Cant complain much with the current economic downturn. I take what I can get. Appreciate the feedback. Hope everything goes well If they think you don't qualify for EP, they will change you to S-Pass automatically. If your company still have the quota then you are ok.

QUOTE(the99percent1 @ Oct 16 2015, 07:41 AM) Are you earning minimum 3.3k? If no, high chance. Pay is not really the main factor. Your degree, the uni you graduated from, you age, your industry and job matters more. I know friend who got 2k (which is less than S-Pass requiremnt of 2.2k) pay secured an E Pass

QUOTE(libragurlshirl @ Oct 16 2015, 08:07 PM) Sorry ya.. actually is there really a big difference between E pass and S pass? got people say E pass is a better stepping stone to PR application compare to S pass. other than that, the only diffence is that company no nid to pay levy for E pass holder, but nid to pay for S pass. and E pass has no quota restriction, while S pass has.. so in short , company prefer to hire Epass holder than Spass.

There's some borang, CP21 if i remember correctly, which you get your malaysia company to issue then you take to LHDN to close off your tax file. Or just don't give a crap and every year file zero income also ok geh.
