Forgot to ask, I got a call from unifi today to upgrade again this time to VIP20. Didn't manage to talk much coz I was in the middle of something, asked them to call back. So anyone got the same offer, how much the monthly bill?

I heard that if you complain often enough your speed will go up...

Don't rule out virus as well, good to monitor exactly how much your system is using (not how much speed you 'feel' while browsing). Applies to all devices.

They told me within 24 hours.

They also offer me 20 M connection for 2 yrs offer at 229 ringgit ... I did not take the offer ...cos my house is very stable on 10 M at the moment ... To me the extra 10 M for the extra of 50 ringgit .. Is not worth it ...

Then you need to turn off the BTU/router and turn back it on. You can also check whether the upgrade process is complete through the occ.unifi.my portal (My Services --> My Recent activity)

vip20 here, just checked my speed and it's been throttled bad enough. I'm getting around 3-5Mbps on speed test for downloads, uploads is semi ok (fluctuates around 10-15Mbps) but what I've noticed is it hits 10Mbps for the download then straight away shoots down below 5. I guess it may be because of new years but seeing some of the recent posts maybe it's something else. Luyang, Kota Kinabalu.
Update: Ok, well now it's not even hitting 10. It's going straight to 5 and stabilising at ~3+Mbps
Update2: All good now, must've been the new years chaos since it started getting better right after new years hit.

Nothing you can do at your end. Need to pester those TM staff in order for them to rectify the problem. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=72207157This post has been edited by 3010517: Jan 1 2015, 01:41 AM

Mine was they upgraded my upload speed but not download speed. Anyway, it was fixed quite promptly. Usually after they tried to reset port from their end but doesn't work, they will immediately open a case for you. Technician will be sent to fix this.

QUOTE(nos4a2 @ Dec 17 2014, 10:24 AM) After poking around the internet, I finally found the solution. You must disable Anti Attack in the router settings. Just in case you were wondering, I was facing the same problem for two months. QUOTE(nos4a2 @ Dec 17 2014, 10:30 AM) Disable Anti Attack in the router Advanced Settings. Just solved it last night. When browsing or watch YouTube on Google Chrome, i always get "Resolving Host" first. Browser always paused for a few seconds and then suddenly it is blazing fast again. Really annoying. Furthermore when watching YouTube on 720p or 1080p is always not so smooth load/play. @nos4a2 Wonder where you change/disable the Anti Attack setting in the router? I'm on VIP5. WIFI Router : L7-N-R2000 Hardware Version: A1 Firmware Version: 1.07TM
