QUOTE(LEVIATHAN @ May 26 2014, 02:29 PM) Hi I would like to check with those who has experience postponing/deferring the 2-year contact. Here's my situation. should be possible, but depends on TM's voluntary suspension policies.I subscribed to VIP20, 2/3 months ago. Currently I'm working offshore, signed up for a two-month job somewhere in Sarawak. And I'm looking at another 2 months extension, which means 4 months away from home. Now I would like to defer the contract/stop the service and billing for at most 4 months. IMHO I see no reason this cannot be done. I have done this before with Maxis two years ago when I stayed Australia for a 3-month course. They have no problem stopping the billing and I resumed my contract after I'm back. Is this possible? most telcos will suspend billing if they receive voluntary suspension request. just give TM a call as ask for voluntary suspension (with reason of your 4-months offshore work). Review the T&Cs, billing, charges, etc etc. |

QUOTE(thoseeyes @ May 28 2014, 09:45 AM) TM called my wife yesterday to promote upgrade from 5m to 10m at RM179.00. But I remember I read that if TM called, we should be offered RM169 and not RM179 right? RM179 is only when we call TM to ask for upgrade right? Since she already agreed at RM179.00, can we call to ask them give us back RM169? RM169 offer is excusively for early Unifi customers.RM179 offer is for other customers who's nearing completion of the contract. |

QUOTE(westlife @ May 29 2014, 07:17 AM) I also received the same offer. Rm179 for 10Mbps plan. Rm20 off. But I still feel it is a not bad deal. Becos already paid rm149 per mth, add another rm30 the speed is double. Download time also cut by half. Worth the money actually. In fact, if consider per MBps speed vs money paid. Rm249 for 20Mbps plan is also very worth the money. Just that if one never fully utilize the fast speed, it will be wasted and overkilled. yeah, it's a good offer indeed.Actually the lady also offers me another plan which is add rm50 hypptv package and get free upgrade to 10Mbps speed, it is also very worth the money, just that I hardly watch any tv programme so I didn't take it. same as you, i dont really watch tv, so the hypptv package has no value to me and since my unifi usage is low (mostly outside from home), the need to upgrade from VIP5 -> VIP10 is not really important to me. Unless i'm doing SOHO, then it's really saves me RM20/mth. |

UniFi subscribers on DNS 202.188.0.133 and 202.188.1.5 may experience less than ideal performance due to congestion.
We are looking to return service to normal soonest and will provide updates as we receive them from the network team. The DNS 202.188.0.133 and 202.188.1.5 congestion is also affecting Streamyx subs who may experience less than ideal performance. https://twitter.com/TMCorp This post has been edited by cybpsych: Jul 21 2014, 11:55 AM |

QUOTE(Loongy22 @ Aug 18 2014, 08:02 PM) Is the online bill payment at https://occ.unifi.my down for anyone else? The bill payment section seems to be down for me since Friday... u got M2U? you can easily pay Unifi from M2U.if you got Maybank2cards Amex card, you even get 5% cashback if pay during the weekend (Sat/Sun). Unifi @ RM149, pay about RM150 and charge to your Amex @ M2U, can get RM7.50 cashback in return. |

QUOTE(whistleon @ Aug 22 2014, 12:12 PM) i want to ask about the bill after upgarde to unifi. streamyx account and unifi account are both independent.i already paid the bill of streamyx 19/7/14 - 18/8/14 my unifi is install at 1/8/14, streamyx terminate after few day. now the unifi bill is coming VIP5 (24 Months Contract) Monthly Fee 01/08/2014 18/08/2014 86.52 VIP5 (24 Months Contract) Monthly Fee 19/08/2014 18/09/2014 149.00 tm will not refund the balance to me? since my streamyx already terminate around 4/8/14. now i already paid more 4/8/14 - 18/8/14 your unifi bill cycle = 19th. since service commencement = 1/8/14, the prorated usage = 18 days / 31 days for August X RM149 = RM86.52 (rounded). since the monthly fee is actually an advance payment (for next month), your current bill on 19/8/14 is charging next full month at RM149. |

QUOTE(jasonchaw @ Jan 2 2015, 10:32 AM) possibly TM is streamlining their broadband packages between Streamyx & Unifi (packages & price points).Unifi VIP10 is now retailing RM199, retention program offers RM179. Possibly "new" VIP10 could be slotted into RM189 price point, while not offending those customers who gotten it at RM179 earlier let's see what they will offer then....
