I had my chit chat (informal interview) conducted on 30th November 2022, 3pm with hiring manager.

On the same day, HR informed I have been shortlisted for next stage and asked to provide all documents (payslip, NRIC, certs) with CTC (signatory from Commissioner of Oaths) by 7th.

Today, HR (different person) informed on the next stage interview (yet to be scheduled), which is CBI.

Now, waiting for them to confirm on the date of CBI.

Anyone can share what are the questions to be asked during CBI? What’s the difference with informal interview?

Mainly behaviour question on how to resolve the problem I guess that what I encountered. Depends on the interviewer is representing from which area

How is the letter looks like and it is stated all the benefit like allowance, claim those entitlement ?

Pet digital, one of the simplest OL in term of benefits information. No mention AL, epf contributions etc. just have a position, dept/div, basic salary, pay grade & commencement date. I guess just wait for employees handbook 😅

Lol…. Serious? What is pay grade range for p4,P5 and p6?

The LoA list out remuneration… and allowance (anything monetary entitlement).

Then given another letter, which list out your category and benefits. Eg, accommodation, medical entitlement, hospitalisations, shift/working hour, annual leave, etc

Usually how long to get offer letter after be informed pass everything

Been in a same position such as you. Passed my CBI for Executive (Mechanical) position on 24th June 2022. This is for GTS/PD&T unit. Until now no news but hey life goes on. I don't really mind if there's more deserved candidate out there getting the offer. Good for her/him! There's so many open opportunities out there waiting to be explore

Did hr replied you the offer will be provided ?

The email that I received stated that they will update me if I'm recommended for the position. So, passing the CBI does not equal to getting offer. I did send email to the HR regarding my status but no replies from them. But the HR did stated that my interview record is valid for 1 year after passing the CBI and the recruitment process is very long. If there's no news after 1 year, need to take the CBI all over again. For me, I'll wait until next year if there's any good news but not gonna cling all my hope to that. After the 1 year period is over, I'm not gonna waste my time going for the CBI and all that stuff again. I'd rather be applying somewhere else where the company actually need me to fill that position than keeping me in their database. By the way, I didn't apply for the position, I was headhunted by them. For anyone that has passed the CBI and yet to receive any news, don't put your hope too high ya. Cheers!

Hiring manager will always choose the best one. Either one of you will be selected at the end. The profile updation is the last step prior to offer letter. Maybe they asked you to update first and once the 2nd candidate result is available and you are to be chosen, the link to accept the offer letter will be sent for you to confirm via this mycareerx. So it will be more time saving than u fill in at later time.

Petronas or petronas digital that go through the mycareerX?

I assume all OPU use the same method.

i think all petronas sub also undergo mycareerx. Im waiting the offer from pet research

I did my CBI last Monday, 2 hours session 🤣

I did asked the HR representative what’s next provided CBI passed? This would be the final stage.

But, result CBI could be 2 weeks, even months.

Not going to put high hope for this. I didn’t apply for this. The headhunter approached me @ LinkedIn.
