Just finished my medical check up last week. Normally, how long does it takes to get the offer letter?
And is it possible that we did not passed the medical test? Eg. High sugar, high cholestrol, high bp and etc. let say we have either one of those..but doctor tick fit to work, still cannot get the offer is it? Scared already. Havent get any update since i submit my med check up last week. 😓

Wahh. Thats quite a long time already. When did u do ur medical check up? Did u ask them for any update? what did they reply?

Heard they are going to downsize and restructure the employees. If this is going to happen, I believe new recruitment will be freezed for now. Anyone inside the company can confirm?

Really? Mine pulak on the letter told me to go for PIPE on 4th Feb and report duty at KLCC on 13th, but yesterday HR told me that they cancelled the PIPE because there are not enough participant and asked me to report duty at KLCC first then go for PIPE on March.

I suggest that you be patient for the time being. I called Petronas, and they said that they will continue processing everything once they are done restructuring.their organization, which should be by between end of this month till next month.

Same here, I've done SI(6/2) n med checkup (9/2) for mlng as well. Hv tried to contact them but cudnt get through.

I went for my SI in April. The topics for case study varies from economics to current issue. My advice would be its ok if you don't fully understand the case given (they put it down in the case study form anyway) but you can google it. The most important part is that you must be able to present a few points properly and discuss your idea (there is no right or wrong). Also, its better to work with a few points you understand compared to listing tons of weak points you may have trouble presenting. If you're not confident with the point, scrap it. Since we're on the subject, I would like to ask anyone who may know. I did my medical in May and I've followed up with local HR, they say everything ok and only wait for HR KL? How long is that usually? FYI, I'm applying for post at MLNG Bintulu if it helps 😇

I noticed MLNG Bintulu is heavily recruiting for peoples nowadays, but how come there are forumer previously in this thread mention MLNG freeze recruitment? Sekejap hire sekejap freeze. Hairan.

Last 4 years back, i passed the SI, only waiting for the offer letter.
Later on HR said that my position already filled by other candidate.

Last 2 month got another invitation for TA, but lastly they postponed it without date.
And no update/answer until now.

June 24 : Update my resume n details on discovery
June 25 : HR contacted me asking for my latest transcript n resume
July 31 : Did my SI at Tower 1, KLCC
Aug 13 : Received my SI result
Sep 14 : Did my medical checkup at PCMC
Sep 17: Received a call from hr saying that my offer letter will be ready next week, gonna report on duty on Oct 1st

Btw, I'm fresh grad chem eng.
